Great question Michael! It's called a "singing pyramid". It's a meditative device halfway between a Tibetan singing bowl and a triangle. It's very fun and I use it in a lot of my pieces!

Just a tape -- I've been experimenting with some new performance augmentations, but for right now tape seems to be the easiest / most accessible means of accompaniment. Thanks for asking!
