8:30 getting flashbacks to the OG Yogscast Minecraft series when they tried going to the nether, got the portal working but since the Nether wasn’t added to multiplayer, they were just chilling in the portal watching their screens get nauseous!
I have come up with LORE: a child lost her family in the nether at 9, after that she just repeated "THE NETHER DOES NOT EXIST",she then drowned herself after that, now she lives as a black shadow with dark turquoise eyes, if you try to go into the nether, sometimes she will flash on youre screen the text "THE NETHER DOES NOT EXIST" and then corrupt youre world I hope I didnt give an 8 year old nightmares 😅

The 12w49a nether glitch might have something to do with the old item and block values system, back when the game would use numbers for each block and item rather than strings. I remember an old exploit back in the day that allowed you to somehow increment the block id value or something, and it was used to obtain stone brick variants before they added the crafting recipes for them, and long before the stonecutter. I think what's happening in that nether in the video is something similar with the game screwing up some maths or something and messing up the block values in the world, so everything just looks random. I'm not 100% sure of course, but that's just my guess based on my bits of knowledge on old Minecraft code :)
There used to be a bug in the Bedrock edition where instead of netherrack and lava, The Nether would generate out of Water and Stone blocks. Can't remember if it was happening only on servers or not, but safe to say it was a pain in the butt for us. And no, this wasn't in the beta versions, it was in an actual version. And it happend multiple times on different occasions
I actually really like those first two broken Nethers…they almost feel like something that should be in the game normally to add to the nether’s weirdness
Theres also a "phantom Nether" state where everything is just messed up similar to the third nether glitch It happens when you enter the Nether from the End instead of the overworld

The reason why there was no world generation is that the void doesn't let you place blocks by world generation or by yourself. If you went to build limit you would see the same thing!

As one of the like 13 players that plays the 3ds version, the nether there is full of holes straight to lava. I just fell into one once and lost everything
I play the Switch version. the nether did in fact exist. the one I visited was full of cats. all of them were named angry UwU cat and I was the one that summoned them and named them. I was trapping those UwU cats. I was turning the nether into my kingdom. I was also making an overworld kingdom full of cats.

14w26b's neather and end seems to be due to it taking the chunks on 1 axyss beside the good chunks and eather moving it over or simply moving it up to the top above the good chunks.

When Squiddo did the transition to the last corrupted Nether, an Outback Steakhouse ad played. Imagine if Minecraft made product placement dimensions for all Minecraft copies from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store; one of them was an Outback Steakhouse one 🤔. So the missing chunks thing is from my knowledge of the game the chunks arent missing rather they are separated that's why there is no flowing lava it's not that it ain't flowing it's that it IS and what you see is gaps that dont exist and the double end is a result of your world trying to fix these gaps that dont really exist that's why you didnt go through your portal it's that it existed in between 1 chunk that's split into 2 so your portal shows a ghost portal not a real portal. For those wondering I believe this is why tho this is all based off my knowledge

The next one he said was Look For The Eye. It is mentioning the eye of ender, which MatPat covered. You can watch it, he is actually right about what they are saying.
Bedrock players: I've seen that before but it was in the overworld and it was just one invisible and other visible but it was a little fat and there wasn't any collision so you just fell and you can only walk forward or backward because there was barriers to go into the other line you know what a mean and it's called the "stripe lands"
as someone who spends some time trapping myself in the nether, this seems like a challenge to surviving... :)
