Driving through Fort Myers Beach, Florida on a rainy day.
The island continues to make progress in their recovery from Hurricane Ian (September 2022). Many businesses and restaurants have reopened at the north end of the island, including the brand new Margaritaville Resort. The south end of the island, however, is moving a little slower. Santini Marina Plaza should be open within the next 12 months.
