Very nice my friend!
👏👏👏
Gooood
Hola from Yucatan, Mexico, I love this song, that riff so catchy.
This is awesome!
Bon dimanche
Thanks Erwan yes I agree the bass in the mix isn't as good as it could be . But maybe that was the kind of raw sound they were after. Have a great day my friend.
The Cure, one of my favourite band!!! Great cover ')
Wow, man, that was rock solid! Super tight playing Neil! Not easy to repeat the same line throughout the whole song. Consistent and dead on the beat. Fantastic job on this haunting song.
Thanks Thomas most cure songs are haunting in some form...Well apart from Friday I'm in love but then again heart attack is mentioned in that one lol
Love this song and the bass line is very iconic which you play perfectly here well done my friend 👏👏🎸
Thank you so much Trevor really appreciate it mate. Great era of music!!
@@neilmorrow9756 you're welcome and yes indeed it was a great era for music
That was KILLER, man! I don't think I'm familiar with the song - but it sounds like you have some kind of "chorus" effect on there. Either that or the original recording has one. Your timing is, as always, SPOT DA-F ON, man!
Thanks for listening, Dan, don't have a chorus effect on, but there is a delay effect in the recording on the last bass note of the original song.
@@neilmorrow9756 SERIOUSLY!?!?! That effect I'm hearing must be from the two bass lines being played simultaneously - each with slightly different tones! Very similar to how "Surround sound" works between the front and rear speakers! VERY COOL!
Great tone! I saw you make that adjustment on the bridge pickup knob right after the intro… I was waiting for that classic J Bass growl and I heard it! As far as your playing, that really took center stage over the tone. The right hand plucking was “plucking” outstanding! Lol!
You don’t miss much Bill lol very observant. I wanted a softer tone for the intro but could have been a bit fatter still a bit crisp in there. Thanks for checking it out mate!!!
:)
id say that THE CURE is the best band to do cover of, when it comes sown to bass, same goes for J. DIVISION
They have good super effective bass lines that dont overpower the feel of the song but hold it together. Thanks again mate for your comment.
Great performance!!!!!😍👏👏👏👏👏👏
