You can run a CL2 cam in predators without needing a Billet rod and flywheel. Also add a high flow air filter and a header, rejet the carb to a .038, then you got an actual race engine.

Great channel Tanner! Just found your channel yesterday, and have watched a bunch of your vids. Nice to see the relationship you have with your sister and the mechanical knowledge you both have at such a young age. Grew up attending the sprint car races at Ascot Park in Gardena CA, starting in the early 70's, until the day it closed. So many good CRA memories. Good luck to you and Carly in your racing careers! Do more races at your home race track
Great video hope to see more from the yard cart series , I think more viewer / subs can get more into this because of the affordability . My grandson & I built a small track to run a couple of karts we built and after having a few friends over we decided to form a dirt kart club . Unfortunately the pandemic hit the Yakima valley hard and it’s been a show stopper for this year but we will move forward and get it started next year. I find your spirt and gratitude refreshing and I’m committed to model our clubs core values based on how you and your family promote the sport . You & sis have done amazing job bringing it down to earth and making it accessible to our youth that may have never got opportunity too see how the sport progresses. A huge shout out to your folks that have substantially altered their lives to pursue dreams of our youth . They are the unsung hero’s who inspire myself to transcend dreams of my youth to help achieve that of a young person’s, if only to point them in the right direction and remind them always go left and keep the wheels hard right !

@@kopitski217 To be fair , 99.9% of parents on earth can't afford this. What, $1.2-1.8 million for the house, shop and track. $1500 each cart, $60000 each sprint, vehicles, trailers, safety clothing, gas... it all adds up.
Tanner, great job with all you do, so refreshing. Would you consider a random draw from subscriber list to come and race at your home track in the Karts? Just a thought. Keep up the good work. Winner has to provide own transportation and lodging.

I recommend going to go power sports and picking up the stage 1 predator kit it boost hp for sure I have it on my kart setup and it looks amazing
Pull the governor and unplug the low oil sensor if you didn’t do so. Also run the track in backwards from the racing direction. Good work

Mostly used on Dirt karts
Mostly modified but Sometimes stock (besides the exhaust)

I race go karts qrc karts with predator engines you can hop them up some and they run really good
Nathan Titzman I run those at lake port they just call em caged clones we just shave the head port and polish and new carb exhaust and intake

Remove the governor, put a header on it and a mikuni caubeurator on it. If you really want some more speed you can put billet flywheel, billet rod, 18lb valve springs, port and polish the heads and shave it down. If you do enough upgrades you can make 30 hp out of those predators

Try dragging a large tractor tire in reverse on the track to treat the track and make it faster

Get rid of those stock intakes and exhausts. Throw on some Makuni carbys and a high flow header. Just THAT alone should improve the performance by 30%
