Losing your hair can be tough, especially as a kid

Alopecia means the body`s immune system targets hair follicles, causing hair loss. It can be hard on a patient`s self-esteem, maybe hardest for a child. But some local kids are making the best of it.

To me that’s sad. I would hate to be bald. She’s still pretty though. My hair is thin because it’s been falling out in the shower and when I brush it and stuff by the handfuls for over 11 months because of the stress covid and double covid pneumonia put on my body last year.

Same i have it too but my mom won't believe me
