Nurain is definitely paying the price for not sitting at the front, especially at the wheel spin time, rear seats had their massage seat function ON 😂
Because of the Side Cladding the Tyres look undersize , looks kinda small not that proportionate to the car ..
irl single tone colors looks way bigger
they have larger cutouts for wheel wells to save on steel. To hide that ungainly design they added large plastic wheel wells.
And thats the same case with hyryder as well.
Bigger wheel wells means space for bigger size wheel upgrade

Nowadays the Maruti Suzuki cars doesn't offer much VFM value in their automatic cars. But the mannual offers more VFM. The price should have been more aggressive for the automatic models. What a great review. Was waiting for this🤩

At 14.7 lakhs for the ZXI+ manual on road, it’s overly expensive compared to old Brezza which came at 11.5 lakhs even accounting for all the new features (which aren’t many). And the second top model ZXI misses out on many basic features at 13 lakhs. MS totally messed up the prices.

Everyone is talking about the increased price of the top end variant, maruti has done so because the hyryder base variant and brezza top variant will compete each other in terms of pricing, so people will prefer a bigger car(hyryder) at the same price even if they have to let go of some unwanted features.

Hyryder will offer AWD, also, Brezza and Hyryder share platforms but that ends there. The Hyryder is actually full 300 mm longer than the Brezza, it's not like Brezza and the old urban cruiser versions anymore.

Great review faisal..I really miss the older Maruti car's which had feel and character...now I feel instead of car's we have gadgets on wheels...this is the only Maruti I can recommend to someone because of the 4 star safety....and on top of that the pricing is bonkers...lxi is the only variant worth buying...
Better to go with ScorpioN for this price range and Diesel engine torque always makes you happy instantly.

I have a 2021 S-Cross (zeta manual) which has the same engine, more space, a bigger car feel (not a sub 4 meter) and better build quality than the previous gen Brezza and yet it cost 11.8L on road. The pricing of the new Brezza is simply insane.
Price of Brezza AT ZXI is comparatively better with features which we only get in top models of Venue and Sonet, which are more expensive compared to Brezza ZXI . So its not only Brezza which is priced higher.
The new brezza is a good car in terms of practicality, features and comfort. But it should have got an all digital instrument cluster.

Excellent honest review. Infact you are the only reviewer whom I can trust, because you tell both the positives and negatives about the car. I always had a doubt that the rear seat underthigh support was poor in this updated brezza and you were right. Also the small size headlights are not sufficient at night especially when an opposite heavy vehicle approaches, I found it difficult to see the side of the heavy vehicle in the updated Baleno which has similar headlights.

i still prefer old brezza... they are enough for me....i have brezza diesel ZDI and its weight good when u drive at 120. But this petrol brezza is like parachute and if your driving above 100 you will feel you will floating in the air. Maruti should focus on engine performance then modern stuffs.
In my opinion a decent car need - airbag, ac, power ster- music system.

Not just the Brezza, all Maruti cars can do with a 6-speed manual. I own an Ignis, and it is good enough for the city and that occasional commute outside. Started my driving with an Ambassador MIII. That time 60 kmph used to be the safe cruising speed for highways. Now the norm is more like 90-100. In fifth gear, at an economical RPM, these cars cruise along at about 70kmph or so. A 6th gear is one thing that is REALLY missing. Even other companies like Hyundai should start to provide 6-speed manual transmissions even with their 1.2L petrols. Would help keep a cruising speed at 1700 - 2000 RPM.

17.63 lakh on road price for ZXI+ Dual Tone in Bangalore to be precise. Heck of a price really. Also, there’s confusion on which platform its built upon. (Is it Heartect or Tect or Global-C)

Especially after the interview video of Maruti Suzuki manager came out and then everyone started giving gyan. Final conclusion though- i am cancelling my booking. Sad but forcefully doing this due to the unrealistic pricing from Maruti.

17.6 lakhs for a dumb powered engine...? (I drive this previous version, no pull nothing in hillies with 4 passengers) Haha, it is better to get nexon or xuv diesel at 15 lakhs onroad with a beast of a power..
I bought a wagon r 2 years back.. Costing around 6.3 lakh..now its around 22000 km..avg. mileage is 19.4 in mid.. 1 liter engg..after 2 years i have spent around or 100000 rupees of petrol..just imagine if the mielage is 13 km..that would have cost me 1.60 lakh.. mielage matters..the cost of the car..less matter until u go for safety..a turbo diesel engine can give u max to max 16km per litre..may exiting to drive..i like the way Suzuki does this..bcoz now they r playing their cards..they r like if u want something come to me..n pay me..and i will give u 20 years hassle free engine...Brezza is a hot cake..i m in favour of Suzuki..i like the competition too much..Hyundai will come up with something for sure..

well i feel venue will take 2nd spot in compact suv segment in sales after nexon...in bangalore 10.5L for 2nd base model with all basic needs like apple carplay,rear ac,,steering mounted controls,hla,esp etc its vfm...was waiting for this brezza but its pricey....

I feel this car is quite overpriced for what it offers.
Common maruti suzuki atleast change the power window switches when you charge so much.
Ms should have offered better seats with more lateral and under thigh support but unfortunately they offered the same seat as the old model.
I feel because of pricing the nexon's sales will increase and in another 5-6 months ms will start giving discounts or reduce the prices
Hope ms will not make the mistake of pricing very high in next generation s cross and grand vitara

@@akhileshvatupalli got clutch noise (drum like tabla) in Taigun in 3 different test drive vehicles. Dropped Taigun because VW Was unable to decode why the clutch is making noise like a drum. Checking on Creta E/EX range
so glad that I took the plunge and got myself the last gen Brezza this April. Prices are bonkers now. Plus I feel the exterior of the old Brezza was better also gets the legendary 'Vitara' badging.I love the snappy petrol engine in mine and handling is decent and predictable with a sufficiently sharp steering. The interiors in this one is really good actually.

In terms of reliability of engines, MS is the best. People talking about performance here are not going to race on the public roads. Come on, just think about practicality and service network. TATA is having pathetic service and customers are suffering like anything.

good review Faisal. First one to highlight the lack of power in this car. It lacks driving modes too which others r offering. Turbo charged petrol engine is must. it looks funny too, Espresso senior lol. And they same old problems of handling and ride quality. This car should compete with hatchbacks imo.

Trust me on this it was VFM, used to give 14kmpl on City, 17kmpl on Highways. 🔥😎
Now as u know it is overpriced, and has lots of features in board 🧐
On highway it can give 22-23 kmpl as well.

If we compare lower variants of brezza with its competitors, it’s providing a bigger engine with 103hp .. I mean the rivals are giving a 1.2l engine with just 82hp. So that’s where it does stand out but as soon as we go up the models, price is a little on the higher side.
Nexon Petrol gives 118hp170nm
Nexon Diesel which is priced very close to Brezza gives 108hp260nm, better fuel economy and better safety rating too
