Would you be kind to let me know how you are making those extensions for the lamp to sit on?
I sent dimensions to the specialised acrylic shop. They did all the work and basically just glued the pieces together with acrylic cement.

The small roots and the sand/gravel mix really make this scape. Very nice.
My Cryptocoryne undulatus and lutea in the small holding tank show some melting, but also new leaves, as is Vallisneria.
But I don't think I got Crypt parva with the latest order. The name card was missing, and the plants are starting runners, so if I had to take a guess, it's Helanthium tenellum green or some such.
No problem, though.
It will be exciting to see how this smaller stream will develop. I was going to ask what Mr. Bulldog's tank mates were going to be, but nevermind. I like a surprise.
Yes Mr. Bulldog will go here, I destroyed his previous aquarium so I need to add him somewhere. I think Crypts are my favorite plants but they need so much time to grow. I guess that is also their best feature; you basically don't need to trim them ever.
I started planting the Rio 125 yesterday. So far, Red Lotus, a green lilly, Cyperus helferi and a dark red Echinodorus of which I forgot the name. Also, a few stems of fast growing plants to get things started. And a couple of Bladder snails to start the cleanup of whatever algae and white fuzz there is developing.
I took down the "cursed" 80cm tank today and put the fish in a holding tank. I put a single Lemon tetra in a heated bucket with some Esha2000, because it looked particularly bad.
I'm not using the 80cm tank again. I remember some issues from years ago, and this time around it also just didn't work. Never got rid of the algae and lost quite a few fish... 🤬

I bought it very cheap, as a holding tank; the glass is very green, even without algae, and the silicone work is pretty terrible.
I was a bit insane yesterday, so I ordered a UNS 60U with a Twinstar 60B light to replace it and ultimately turn it in a new home for Ember tetras, Pygmy Corys and most likely some small shrimp. Wood, Lava rock, Java fern, Anubias, Cryptocorynes and maybe a bigger Echinodorus. And the Rio 125 isn't even finished yet! 😂
There's such beauty in its' simplicity. Beautiful scape. Any plans to stock? Some Endlers or Chili Rasboras would look great.
I will definitely add the Red lipstick goby that is in my care for a long time. The plan was to add Green Neon rasbora but unfortunately I sold most of them and don't have enough for this aquarium so I will have to improvise. Thanks for watching.
Very nice looking tank! Makes me wanna tear down my tank to redo!. Btw, do you cover the soil with sand and how do you ensure the sand will not get mixed up by the aqua soil?
I did not cove soil with sand. I just separated them with stones and I filled up all the holes in between stones with filter floss. It is important to mention that the stones are above the soil and sand so basically the level of soil (sand) is below the stones.
@@IMaqua Thanks for the advise, will take note on that! I had a similar size of tank as yours, but cluttered scaping. Maybe soon I should try it out as a new project!

It is 3 days. I transferred Cryptocoryne from another aquarium.
