Mate this is a quality video it deserves way more views than it has. I was 4 years old when I first played this game on the original Xbox and it literally made me fall in love with the whole franchise and the clone army. I remember being scared of the battle droids on that mission where you wake some of them up 🤣 I will honestly say this shaped my love for gaming throughout my childhood and it’s a shame nothing has come close to it today!! Could you imagine how good it would be if this was done again i always feel like no one else has played this game but it’s good to see others had the same experience with this masterpiece keep up the good work pal the editing and commentary was perfect
Hah! Many thanks! Republic Commando is some of the best Star Wars content we've got in the gaming sphere and it's a shame with how horrifically underplayed it is. Forgotten with the piles of other Star Wars games. What an absolute shame! I'm humbled that you liked it so much. The game shaped my love for unique shooters, especially something like RC that did something unique with its squad mechanics and companion AI. Absolutely incredible! We need a sequel for this game with maybe the fate of Sev who in my opinion has survived. As he probably did not execute order 66 he could have joined or been found by a rebel cell or by his other brothers who remained loyal to the empire.
In the behind the scenes of the sequels that would have been made, it was confirmed that after Imperial Commando there would have been Rebel Commando, where Sev would be the leader of a cell of Rebels going up against the Empire.
So I'm not entirely happy with how this turned out, but I am proud of what I learned and accomplished. I'm getting better at editing, so that's a start! So for some reason during the entire night I recorded from the script I was out of breath and I was slurring my words a bit. Didn't know what was going on, but these were the best takes... and what do you know? I wake up a couple days later and I have a virus. So that's a bit unfortunate! Some editing errors that couldn't be fixed here and there, too, unfortunately. Spent 11 hours straight on this video and I just wanted to be done with it and get it out there. But Republic Commando deserves all the effort. It's an incredible game, and everyone should experience the absolute greatness that it is, and how it was unfortunately sidelined by much bigger titles. Definitely my fault due to Adobe making everything 360p and I couldn’t catch it in time.
I think the recent re-release of Republic Commando might be them testing the waters to see if they want to make one or not. I plan on speaking with my wallet, as that's what companies see. If enough people express interest in the game, then the publisher might consider getting a developer to make a sequel!

Why doesn't LucasArts/Disney make a sequel? Mandalorian's a success. Don't they want to make loads of money with a sequel to a great game?
