Okonkwo…Wow. Wrexham should’ve had a few more but what a game. Notts County got shafted on the hand ball as it looks like it goes off his shoulder, but I’ll take it haha.
Hopefully this gives a big boost to team morale, that 3 league game losing streak could've been devastating, but due to some luck and our recovery in form we're back in auto promotion slots, at least. Still need to sort out our away form, it's one of the worst in the league.
Im a Brentford fan but ever since the creator of my favourite show "its always sunny in philadelphia" took over Wrexham, I follow them more closely. Also the wrexham commentator is the best, my new fave.
Still a 3rd of the season to go But can you imagine what back to back promotions would do for the club world wide and the money it could generate for the Town and the club allowing them to compete in Div 1
Pheeew!! At last.......Well done lads, great win, hard fought and lucky. Notts had the better possession and unlucky with their disallowed goal. We are in a great position now, thanks to all around us losing or dropping points. We got 2 tough away games next. COYR 🏴♥️

Pulling for Wrexham, but that didn't look like a hand ball. A draw would have been the fair result Hope Notts can get into the playoffs and hopefully get promoted. I've been enjoying the matches between Wrexham and Notts County the last 2 seasons. The one they had last season at Wrexham was as exciting as they come.
Okonkwo's Arsenal contract runs out end of season. Rob McElhanney better make him an offer he can't refuse. Because it's either that, or he needs to replace the entire back line.
My non league team recently ceased to exist so I'm living my dream via Wrexham highlights haha good on you. County is a huge club too mind you for league 2. Be great to see them get higher up the tables as well. That didn't look like handball ngl
I managed to pause the video exactly when it hits him. It is very clear that the ball hits his arm. He is a bit bent forward with his arm a bit in front of the body redirecting the ball with his bicep so he can keep possession of the ball and put it in the net.
@@Matt3ofcourse It looked to me that it hit him in the middle of his chest, like he was trying to chest it down to his feet to finish it. The view at 5:02 shows it best in my opinion. Wrexham got lucky!
@@tipigi3570 I agree that the view at 5:03 shows it best. And it shows it clear as day it hits his arm, right on the bicep and the underboob. From that angle it's not possible to see it that way if it would have hit him in the middle of the chest. And it wouldn't have bounced that way either. Notts were lucky that Wrexham didn't score like 3 more goals, and that Mullin didn't get a penalty. We can do comparisons like this all day long. In the end, it's the one that score most goals that win. Wrexham wouldn't be where they are in the table solely counting on luck. In the end, luck evens out.
Never a hand ball by Notts County and im a Wrexham fan , we got lucky on that call , but there is days when we get unlucky with calls so swings and roundabouts
@iwantmyusernameback What is handball? Anything under the sleeve? It hits his chest/shoulder, his arm is in a natural postion when wanting to chest the ball from that height so for me was a perfectly good goal

McGoldrick hit it with his upper bicep. For once, ref got this one right. It was ugly but we got the 3. We are officially out of the slide, now it’s port and mansfields turn. Mansfield are past due for a true shit run. MK are due to a strong run. Tuesdays game will be a banger.
Fletcher showing the younguns how to stand tall. Arthur Okonkwo, flawless! They both share the 3 points. That wasnt a handball by Mcgoldrick btw. lucky Wrexham!
Wrexham need to overhaul their defense, it's dreadful. They are hitting optimal performance level upfront but that will not be enough next season if they get promoted. What's worrying is that their defense is so bad, it may be a combination of Parkinson not being good enough to go higher and players.

I thought they were going to get somebody in the transfer window to help take the pressure off Paul Mullin. But Mullin just seems to be off. I don't know if it's an injury, or if fatigue is starting to kick in, or what not, but he's got to be in top shape if Wrexham is going to finish the job and get promoted again.

Great match. Okonkwo, talented young man. Fletcher as well, talented old man.

Fletchers goal looked like hand use as well (accidental, but as the rules stand)
It was the right call. Watched on slomo, clearly off his upper arm.

Ok BIG Wrex fan here, but come on, that defense was LACKING. What happened?? Goalie saved the day
Looked like they just woke up
We limited them to three shots on target the whole game. Arthur made some good saves but generally the defending was fine

I'd like to see more possession on offense, not really their style but it'll be helpful in the future. And more urgency on defense. Good games though
Thank you ref.

Good job Wrexham, but it looks to me as thought County can feel hard done by as that Mcgoldrick incident never looked a handball.
