We need Mdfs !! We don't have problemes when it comes to Wingers and Strikers ... We'll be buttred if we started the season with Luongo and Morsy only ... The quality of the pressure in the PL is very high , in the championship we were having issues when we face teams who put a high pressure... We need to sign players like Sheaf and Berge ...
I read one article earlier today which said Blackburn wanted £20 million for Szmodics and I can't for the life of me see them getting that much for him. He turns 29 in September and although I don't think his age should come into it what I would say is he's had ONE impressive season in the Championship. There's no guarantee that he'll be able to make the step up to the Premier League so I think £15 million at most personally. I think a more realistic transfer would be to Leeds or one of the 3 relegated teams from the top tier from last season. Don't get me wrong if he tries to force through a move to a Premier League team I suppose you couldn't blame him because who wouldn't want to play in the most competitive league in the world? But yea I'm not convinced he would cut the mustard at the top level me.
In watching what Wrexham did to Chelsea and where Chelsea is expected to finish I don’t see any reason we don’t finish top 10 or higher. We would’ve thrashed either team.
You're going to have to pay top money if you want J Clarke from safc as he's under contract and happy at safc . So if you want him, pay the £25 million 🤔
I don't understand why some fans think there is a "need for Prem' experience".... What we need are hungry athletic players that are intelligent enough to take KM's instruction on board. With decent character.... Had our remit been to finish top 6, perhaps, then I'd like some top 6 Prem;' knowhow in the squad... But all we need to do is finish 17th, whilst bringing on some of our young recruits. Why bust the wage structure at this early stage in our revisit to Prem' life...... I'm extremely happy with our business, so far.
Clarkes great but maybe at 25 million a bit steep,he is worth it but can we afford that when we really need a centre mid and maybe a forward.the next 2 signings could be the difference between up or down for me we are so close Barring injuries to having as good a side as we could possibly have got.which is credit to the team working on signings. Looking forward to the next few weeks
Smodics is a risk in my eyes, great season last year but not one prem club interested until now at 28.i think at 6 million that's fine but much more than that I don't think so

We have a fantastic, energetic squad and clearly wirh great chemistry; but I'm baffled we haven't signdd any Premier League players.
