Panda King There are countless stories of gender fluidity and trans existence expressed in Hindu texts. A famous one is of Mohini, an avatar of Vishnu.
Ardhananeshwara, an avatar of Shiva is considered to be half male and half female. It's a logical conclusion to make that if being LGBT was a taboo in ancient Hindu society .. we would not see stories of our Gods( the highest ones of humanity) in these stories. Victorian morality of those times was very prudish and viewed us as a savage culture. You are probably viewing society through the Victorian lens rather than the mores of our ancient culture.

Arundhati and Menack are beautiful. Love is beautiful and touching! No matter what kind of love is love! India is a very good country. Although it is very guarded, Lin Zhongguo is much stronger. This is the quality of progress and self-cultivation of a country. China has no basic human rights, let alone same-sex marriage! There is no legal protection, no equality of rights, no freedom, and constant suppression, especially lesbians. I think that our small group in China should unite with some enlightened countries, countries with same-sex marriage and the United Nations Human Rights Protection Organization to replace China's old system! On the inhuman side, establish an equal, democratic, free and open country to legalize same-sex marriage as soon as possible!

People are dying of hunger and they are homeless and desperate for good life, farmers commit suicide and poor people are getting more poorer day by day, here these so called women goes talking nonsense. They should have done something honorable by helping others in need rather doing all this stupid stuff. It is important it might be I am just saying that there are more problems and priorities for underprivileged people in your country. If they really care about the world they should have done something greater for the humanity as a whole because before anything we are humans.

If you are SO concerned why haven't you done anything? WE FIGHT for our right to be EQUAL CITIZENS, it should be basic human rights...... but since it is not we have to do work.
I am not invalidating what the under poverty line citizens are going through, but what I dislike is your concern suddenly happens to appear when someone is treated equally but does not happen to appear when things such as Temples waste so much money to buy more gold for their already rich deities. I mean if they donated that money they could probably uplift SO MANY citizens.
If the LGBTQIA+ community was treated as "humans" this situation itself wouldn't arise but since the society does not like it we have to fight for basic rights and when we do fight for them people like you like to come up and say "you guys have much better work to do go help poor people" that's just bad on your part.
