I am a child of the 80’s and us elder millenials are all about nostalgia. So it was only a matter of time before I made an arcade or something similar. Plus, my wife is a huge TRON fan. So it was a must.
Also, I have my first channel partner! Woohoo! Please help me welcome xTool to the DollyPop family, y’all. If you’d like to get your hands on one of these beauties, please use my affiliate link! GAH this was a fun creation. SO MUCH DETAIL and the arcade cabinet is to die for! Neon is making a comeback 😍
Oh god, I can’t wait for neon to make a comeback! ❤
Congrats on your partnership 👏 🙌 ❤️ ✨️ 💙 😀 👏 🙌 ❤️ ✨️ 💙
Thank you so much!
OH MY GODDESS!!!! Liz, this is amazing! You and Mae do such wonderful work together. I love every project you do. It is just awesome!!!
Thank you so much!
Holy heckin’ AMAZING! This took me right back to the best days of my childhood.
Right? Every time I look at it, I have flashbacks.
Oh wow, I'm a few minutes in. LOVE the intro! Old lady Dolly needs to grace our screens more often 😆😆
Oh yes. Little Old DollyPop will probably make another appearance in the future. 😂
I could smell that carpet as soon as you showed the design on screen. This is straight out of my childhood.
haha! A little musty, yeah?
I’m a HUGE Tron fan so I am flipping out over how much I love this. 😍😍😍😍
Hehe… we’re going to Walt Disney World next month just to ride the new TRON light cycles ride. I also have a TRON doll coming up. So stay tuned. 😉
It's amazing and I for my part would love to see more videos like this. I'm not going to lie, I am curious to see what other Dioramas you guys could come up with.
If this one does well, I can guarantee that I'll be making more. My first crafts were dollhouses, so I have a love of making rooms. :)
This was amazing, you two are so creative.
Awww! Thank you so much!
This is beyond fantastic. Fellow elder millenial and I just adored this. I miss arcades so much!! As always just an amazing job. Congrats on the 1st partnership. Very well deserved!
Thank you so much! I also miss arcades! I try to tell my daughter about it, but she looks at me like I'm crazy. (Which I am, but that's beside the point. :P)
Pleasure as always! Thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you for hanging around! ❤️
Hahahah, charming grandma acting!
Ah, wasn't it so much better back in the days, going to arcade or movies was so anticipating, passionate. Nowadays entertainment feels like a routine, obligation...
I’m not sure if that’s because we’re adults now or because those entertainment centers suck. 🫣😢
That is so very cool. You ladies always have such wonderful creations and real cool tools 🤘🤘🤘. I want them to now. See what you have done given an obsessed crafter with yet more things to put on my Wish list. 😀😀🥴🥴🥴.
That’s 50% of being a crafter. Coveting and buying tools/supplies. 😂
This was a MEGA production!!! Loved it
It took so much longer than I anticipated, but turned out so well!
WOW! This is fantastic! The look and feel of the whole project is note-perfect. Thank you so much for sharing it with us!
Thank you so much for watching! I
This is amazing! I love everything about this video!!
Awww thank you!
Loved this total roller coaster of excitement to cool this catamaran is too amazing if you stop making dolls how about a construction gig for theme parks you'd be awesome those con slots brought back such cool kids memories in old enuff to have gone to the arcades
I don’t know about construction, but I would love to design theme parks! Lol!
Its amazing 😍
Thank you!
Oh man this makes me feel so old and young at the same time!
That's kinda why I had to do the old woman bit at the beginning. To address the fact that it makes me feel so old!
I can almost smell the arcade, and I've never even been to one!XD Seriously one of the coolest XTool projects I've seen so far. You and Mae make such a creative team!
haha! Yeah, and your estimation of the smell is probably accurate. lol! And yay! I wanted to stand out from the other xTool projects, so I'm glad you said that!
Congrats on the 1st partnership! So very well deserved.
Love what you made. Looking foward to see more creations like this, more dolls, or more of whatever your heart desires :D
EDIT: Forgot to say. I'm over 40, so I spent a good chunk of my childhood in Arcades (they still look like the 80s even in the beginning of the 90s- XD). This project reminded me how much I love going there with my dad
I'm 41, so I know what you mean. (They may have been even better in the 90's. Shhhhhh!)
Epic!!! Ty for this gift from my childhood
haha! You are very welcome. :)
I loved this so much 💓💚💓💚💓💚
Thank you!!!!
Amazing... brilliant... also I love whenever your wife helps out :3
I like it too. (Then I don’t have to mess with super glue. Lol!)
I can smell this diorama 💖 Looks amazing and hit me right in the nostalgia 🤩
I think it‘s only missing the scent of sweat. 😂
THIS IS THE COOLEST! I’ve always been scared of techy stuff and wiring, but watching you guys make such awesome things with it makes me wanna give it another shot someday! The neon lights were SO impressive and creative!
The techy stuff can be amazing, or it can be frustrating. There is no in-between. lol! I have one doll I made last year that I haven't been able to release because she's so tech heavy and problematic. However, when it does work, it makes it all worth it.
Aw man! I used to love it when my grandma took me and my brother to arcades! It was so fun! I wish there were more of them! Kids nowadays are missing out! I mean, I’m only 21, but it feels like way longer. I still love arcades, but they just aren’t open anymore where I am!
We can't seem to find any arcades around here either. It's truly a shame. We have places like Dave & Busters, but those are all ticket games. Its not the same.
This is too much. I love this! Table version of Pac-Man when you make more games
TOTALLY! Although, I think our next creation for this thing is a soda vending machine.
You and your wife are so skilled and talented. I love your content an hope there will be a lot of new videos in this year😘
Thank you! I hope we're able to produce a lot of videos for your too!
Gurl, please! 🤣 That intro....all the nostalgia....my aged, Millennial heart can't take that kind of strain!!!! Grats on the partnership! Glad to have known ya before you made it big! Lol
Haha! Made it big. Hahahahaha! 😂 My elder millennial heart feels old, but happy each time I look at this.
Amazing!
Thank you!
@@DollyPop Yw.
This is insane!! Would love to see more diorama projects in the future; there's something so fun about beautifully-crafted miniature rooms, and you've pulled this off so well!
Awww shucks! Thank you so much!
The floor mats just hit like a nostalgic brick
I know. I was almost in tears. I also feel REALLY, REALLY old. Lol!
You're gonna make the best grandma/elderly neighbour oneday hehe. Such a fun intro! And loved what you did with your title sequence, too
I’ll probably be grumpy and crotchety. That’s the hope at least. 😂
@@DollyPop sounds like a good plan to me hahaha
This is so cool. You both did a wonderful job.
Thank you so much!
I love love how it came out, and congrats on your partnership! You totally deserve it
Thank you! ❤️
omg i am OBSESSED with this. the vibes are immaculate
Right? A little trashy and run-down, but also magical? lol
The editing of this is hysterical omg. 10/10
Haha! Thank you for noticing! I had so much fun editing this one. 😂
This turned out great! I love your dolls but other projects are nice to break it up too.
I’m glad you think so. ☺️
This is f*ckin' amazing!!! You and your wife are an amazing team!!!
Thank you so much! ❤️
This was so freaking cool to watch! I wanna see more of this! I love all the details and seeing how these things are made!
I’m so glad you liked it! 🥰
Awesome video!.... Everything turned out so Amazing! Congrats on the 1st partnership! Love all your videos Xx
Thank you so much! ❤️
I LOVE this kind of content! It came out amazing and I would love to see you create more environments in the future, maybe a luxurious rococo lounge area?
Ooooh! A Rococo gallery would be SO MUCH FUN to make!
Love this, like to see more, build on to your arcade or create something new, your dolls need space to chill and hangout right?
I’d like to make more things like this if people are into it. It’s a lot of fun!
The level of detail in this is insane, congrats on the partnership too!
Thank you! We had a blast making it.
Wow. That was well done.
Thank you!
Whoaa
😁😁😁
saw this on Mae's twitter and WOW I am blown away. I do scale plastic aviation models, and SO MUCH of what I do was here ... and the customization, especially the electronics, but also the printed vinyl (?) stickers ... this is next level. So many details I want to get into ... the change machine?!?! the video of the gameplay? I want to see it all. Also, when you showed the trash can I thought to myself "should have a Pepsi cup crumpled and halfway shoved into the slot" and you did deliver the Pepsi cup, didn't you? Bravo!
Haha! I love your comment about the Pepsi cup. It’s so funny how we have these weird core memories, right? 😂 Also, I’m a firm believer that if you know how to do one type of miniatures, then you can pretty much make anything. ☺️
Omg!!! I love this soo much!! It’s soo dope!!! I def want to see more of this!!!
Noted! Thank you so much for watching!
That was pretty amazing! Came over from Mae's tweet. You are an great team with this!
Thank you for watching!
Oh my god I absolutely love it. It's stunning, the detail, ahhh!! I would not mind seeing more stuff like this on your channel whenever you like, I love it. Also congratulations on the partnership! You deserve it so much. The creativity, the ambiance, the lights!!! I have no words, well apparently I have a few but they can't express how much I love it.
Haha! You do have words, but apparently it the RIGHT words. 😂 Thank you got the lovely comments though. ☺️
You fight for the User!
Greetings, program! ❤️
This turned out so awesome!!!
Thank you so much!
Wow that's so cool looks so real
Thank you! I tried my best!
Legos as a 90degree angle guide is such a good idea
I learned this trick a couple of years ago when I was doing miniatures. It’s soooo useful!
So impressed, my friend! This truly looks like the arcades of.....well, almost my childhood...my kid's childhood at least, LOL!!
Oh come on. Your child isn’t that old and neither are you. I’ll bet you dropped some quarters into an arcade like this. ☺️
@@DollyPop hahaha! I think you are halfway between our ages, tbh! So I have dropped quarters into all kinds of machines! 😆
This came out So Awesome! I love all the neon. And that arcade machine is fantastic. A Damn fine job, indeed. = )
Thank you! I kinda wanted more neon, but we kept ourselves from doing so. 😂
Omg is simply perfect! I love it! I love this kind of content!
Yay! Thank you! It doesn’t seem to be terribly popular with my subscribers, but it still was so much fun!
Ok not to spam comments as I watch this but the B2TF reference made my little millenial heart SO happy lol
Haha! I didn’t know how many people would get it, but I giggled so I kept it in. Lol!
@DollyPop It made me giggle so much too, so I'm glad you did! Hehe
This is so awesome!!!
Thank you! ☺️
Heck yeah, arcade! My best friends and I would go to Family Fun Center every Saturday and blow $10 on Guilty Gear, Maximum Tune, Time Crisis, and DDR. Fantastically captured ❤️
I really want to make a DDR machine to go with this. Can you imagine? lol!
@@DollyPop which doll would be the crazy one that does the 2-pad mode? 😆
@@tenteia haha! I dunno. I'm getting tired just thinking about it!
I love this. I make miniatures so this content is right up my alley.
Oh! What scale miniatures? I started with one inch, but my heart is truly into quarter inch. Or do you make gaming miniatures?
1:24 scale usually. Mostly room box kits from rolife/robotime that I change up a lot. It's a good place to start.
@@meaganmaher672 yeah! Those are great places to start! Half inch scale is still tiny enough that it’s adorable, but easier to see what you’re doing. ☺️
Saw a clip of this on instagram and had to come watch the full video! So cool! 💛
Thank you so much!
awesome stuff! Well done :)
Thank you so much!
Wow!! You guys did an amazing job and this brings back so many memories for me 😊 I’m pretty sure the arcade I used to go to as a kid had that exact carpet 😂 the only things missing are the ski-ball machines and the ticket prize counter… future add on projects perhaps? As always Can’t wait to see what’s next!!
I really want to make a skeeball game and a DDR machine. Mae wants to make a mini soda machine too. ☺️
I love this one! I wasn't able to get to arcades often as a kid but this still felt like coming home. 🙂 And when you mentioned the lack of tiny neon I was going to come mention EL wire for future projects but then you beat me to it... It works so perfectly for this kind of thing, doesn't it?
Totally! Although, I do wish it was brighter.
Amazing!! You guys are so talented and creative and I love how your skills complement each other so nicely. How cool. I didn't even know half of this stuff existed!
I normally come up with an idea, and then we both research like crazy to figure out how to do it. 😂
@@DollyPop Love it!!
This was so much fun to watch! I loved the concept, the electronics, the construction, the room for expansion, the possibilities that something like the XTool presents for other creative types (it *is* a pretty big bummer than it can’t do clear plastics or glass, though). I would love to see more of this kind of thing! Subscribed
Yeah… it would be awesome if it could. Apparently you need a CO2 laser and this is a diode laser. But I can’t complain. This has already made my life like 100x easier.
This is fantastic! I love it so much!
Thank you so much!!
this was wild to watch
In a good way?
@@DollyPop absolutely!! you two worked so hard and the final result is so, so cool!!
that is Epic
Very cool stuff. I'd definitely love to see more like this, as it's veering closer to my usual fields of interest
And that tool looks amazing. I don't think I have the space for Another Device but I've wanted a laser cutter for YEARS so the temptation is real
This is a pretty great one and much more affordable! But I understand the space conundrum. I wanted one so badly that I would have sold the kids to make space. Lol!
I was so curious what this makeup was for when I saw it on facebook 🤣
Did you notice my callout to you in the video? 🥰
@@DollyPop I did! lmao I had already commented before I got to it and didn't want to spam😅I love it!!
@@Threadwing You are welcome to spam as much as you like! lol! I just wanted you to know that your legacy lives on in my heart. lol
I am just BEYOND AMAZED at this small arcade! Im curious though as to what kind of lights you used for everything cuz im heavily inspired to make my own 🥰
Did I answer your question on TikTok? If not, I’ll come back and answer here. 🥰
@@DollyPop LOL you did! I made this comment before tiktok but thanks for telling me ☺️🤣
@@barbieanzim987 I’m sorry I missed it. In my brain, I did respond, but apparently I was wrong. Lol
Awesome job
Thanks? 😂
@@DollyPop I was sure I wrote awesome lol
I fixed it
@@silverlink454 well then THANK YOU!
What is the point of the dish soap in the "Forbidden" coffee/Chocolate Milk and magic concrete?
It reduces the surface tension of the water or glue so everything settles better.
Quick question, what is the purpose of the dish soap in the forbidden coffee, chocolate milk, and magic sand? Also, beautiful work. I can smell this place through my screen, highly nostalgic
It helps to release the surface tension of the water so the mixture absorbs or flows better.
How did you clean the glue out of the syringe? I would love to use the technique.
So I normally clean it out, but I didn’t even try with the contact cement. Lol! It is possible if you use mineral spirits, but I didn’t have any, so I tossed it this time. I would put the mineral spirit into the empty syringe with the stopper in place. Then plug the tip and shake it A LOT. Then shoot it through the tip. Then take some sort of implement like a pipe cleaner, and try to remove whatever else you can. Then repeat until it is clean.
I have followed you on Instagram for a while now but me being an a 80s kid , this got me. , thank ya
Gooood. Goood. I got you in my hyper color net! lol!
every single video and new project adventure, You & Mae amaze me with the detail and improvising to make it work...or creativity if its not available.... but this new partnership a
with this cutter...... i only see even more possibility's for faulous creations in store... i love this and the dolls and costumes ...painting...actually anything and everything you both do together is incredible and worth a video!!! congrats on your first partnership... so deserved!!! woohoo 10K is happening for sure!!! guarenteed!!!!
I hope so! It would be nice to continue growing this year! 🙏
Wish that uwooh sound deleted from reality it inflicts so much psychic damage 🤢 otherwise loved watching the process and seeing the final product, i want a mini arcade for myself 🥹
