Understand then you recognize😮 the best rock n roll band ever and still doing it, these guys are in their early to mid eighties and are better than 100% of bands in 2024…..WoW
Oh my gosh, watching this video brings a lot of memories back!
When young, I recall when this song came out. Friends and I loved the stones but hated anything "modern". They were "too old" at the time for us to even go see them in concert (only band I've never seen out of hundreds) which like a few others, I really regret today. We made fun of this song in particular and had made up different lyrics to make it sillier.
Listening to this now after a 4 decades or so lmao, I really like this song now and had to listen to it 3 times. It is stunning they're still performing and am thinking of going to one of their shows, no matter what the cost of airfare, hotel, and ticket.
It just hurts to hand over two months of house payments to see them.
Bill Wyman...I can hear him here ...and when ever he is audible he lifts the whole band.
This song is so good love this so much❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉so good text Mick write with Keith❤❤❤❤❤❤love this men can eat them up they are my life❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Their best track. Simple, in the pocket and insanely effective
I'm 34 years old and this was the first song I heard from the Stones. I was just a child. From there began my romance with them that lasts to this day.
I think that is great, I would love to see. Them I'm concert some day I grew up in new York. Up state and was to high an drunkl to apereach at them.but now I am sober.2 years
I'm going on 24 this was the first one I heard too
@@danielsembert3406 God bless you that you're sober! Peace.
@@dennisbailey7160 I'll be 63 years old this month and have rocked and rolled with The Stones for a lifetime. I first saw them perform live on the old _Ed Sullivan Show_ in 1964 on black-and-white TV when they performed "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" after it was first released. The Stones came to America on the heels of The Beatles' success and at the beginning of what came to be known as The British Invasion. It was immediately apparent that The Stones' music had a radically different spirit than The Beatles' and that was very much by design of their manager Andrew Oldham. It's surreal that they're still rolling after all of these decades albeit with only Mick and Keith as original members left. The Stones' career has taken so many twists and turns musically and otherwise. But Charlie's passing may well mark the end of the band in any practical sense. Such is life. It's been a great career considering that 6 guys (including Ian Stewart at the beginning) envisioned as a glorified, white British blues club scene cover band with the guts to take a huge risk true to their conviction would aspire so highly and come so far. That's only possible when you love what you're doing. Thank you.
Great performance. The Stones at full throttle with Bill and Charlie driving that train. RIP Charlie.
*The dislikes is from people who do not have mixed emotions*
People who don’t like mixed emotions have horrible taste in music.
The best song from Steel Wheels.
We all have mixed emotions, and it sounds amazing in the song.Mick and Keith write some hard-hitting lyrics 🎉🎉
I went to this concert in Tokyo and that was the FIRST concert of the Rolling Stones in Japan and the LAST concert of the Stones with Bill Wyman. I and my friends stayed in the line through the night of the cold winter in front of the ticket agency. The concert was absolutely amazing. I will never forget until the day I die.
I went to their concerts several times in the following years, but I was missing something. After Bill left the band, they sounded different and that was not the taste I loved. (I totally agree with Bob Dylan's comment about the Stones without Bill.)
And Charlie passed away. I am not going to their concerts without Bill and Charlie.
I am new to this town florins, mass and I grew up listening to the stones. Mick is one of the best singers I. Have ever herd I am62 years old pease out
Charlie Watts was a great drummer vastly underrated and super cool too

CHARLIE!!!!!!!! We love you and miss you! The rock among the stones!
Emotions for Great Band in the World, forever. 👏🔥♥️👍🎶🙏
Mick is the greatest front man ever. Nobody even comes close.,
Lima Gallagher comes close
Thank you Stones for the first time to Japan! Back then I am 33 years old I am 60 years old!
Best song they ever did in my opinion !
@@daniel_1969 Top 50 for sure;I would say on mylist
Sounds awesome... not like today where the computer accounts for the majority of the sound. True raw talent. 💯
Thanks for mentioning that! No computers involved; just real music!
I appreciate the rolling stones performing. I have and always will be a rolling stones fan. I love listening to Robert Johnson too. Really good music. Thank you rolling stones. You are my favorite band/group.

"Mixed Emotions"
Button your lip, baby
Button your coat
Let's go out dancing
Go for the throat
Let's bury the hatchet
Wipe out the past
Make love together
Stay on the path
You're not the only one
With mixed emotions
You're not the only ship
Adrift on this ocean
This coming and going
Is driving me nuts
This to-ing and fro-ing
Is hurting my guts
So get off the fence now
You're creasing your butt
Life is a party
Let's get out and strut, yeah
You're not the only one
With mixed emotions
You're not the only ship
Adrift on this ocean
You're not the only one
That's feeling lonesome
You're not the only one
With mixed emotions
You're not the only one
You're not the only one
Let's grab the world
By the scruff of the neck
And drink it down deeply
And love it to death
So button your lip, baby
Button your coat
Let's go out dancing
Let's rock-and-roll
You're not the only one
With mixed emotions
You're not the only ship
Adrift on this ocean
You're not the only one
That's feeling lonesome
You're not the only one
With mixed emotions
Mixed emotions, yeah
You're not the only one
You're not the only one

What a rockin and lovely performance!🥰🎸😎..🧚🏻♂️🥁
Maybe “Mixed Emotions “ even though looking back to 2010 when this guy😎 decided to buy himself a beer it was one of the happiest moments of my life because I knew then he was going to “Stay Around” and even though there was some trickery going on I gotta say 😎”You Make Loving Fun” feels like an “Eternal Flame “ to me.💋🥰😎......😏.......🎸
Awesome.

Mick Jagger said of this song that it was hard to pull off live, because of the hard verse and melodic chorus. I don't hear a problem.
this band sounds promising. they should release a record!
Yeh maybe 🤣🤣
One of the best.
Super album
Love it
Siempre grandes los.rolling
Los adoro Rolling Stones!!!!!
I gotta admit, after Dirty Work I thought it was a wrap. Then this happened....
Thank God that wasn't their last album
Derroche de energía. Bravo Mick and Cia.!!!

Great song, not heard as often as it should be! I had no idea Mick played guitar. And it looks like he is really getting major riffs outta that thang! Wow! Superb!
Fresh comment: Won't be popular, but my favorite Stones song! Next, Wild Horses ofcourse...😂

Bill Wyman...the quiet Stone.
Yes he is

I've never been a big fan of Mick's live singing, studio, yes, but live, no. He does seem to sing much better with a guitar in his hands. When he's not running around the stage he sings much better.
he started singing again in the 80s. . in the 70s he was just too wired on coke. ya'yas is of course good
:( jaja
you don't need very much luck if you are confident you left very little to chance and can afford to chance it emotionally
2:10-2:37 what the studio version was missing, a solo
One of there best dont know why they won't play it live anymore. Same songs every concert.
Because this song is not that great, and they know it! Or in other words, when they choose their songs for a concert, that one is certainly not prioritary.
@@lust4bass Not at all, it's a song that Keith is especially proud of. The reason it's not played more is because it's got a lot of complex harmonies that are difficult to capture properly night in and night out on tour. It's a great song, but it's tough to perform well live.
They sure knocked it out of the park on this performance though, wot?
@@theAAA67 this is the best performance of it ive seen so far, they got the vocal blend right. in the others jagger was too overpowering
