Bro, I am planning to buy my first car. Never drived car till last month in my life. Altroz and i20 are on the list. Altroz XZA plus and i20 sportz dct are in same price range. Both of them do not have hill hold assistance. Since I am driving newly, I am not sure if hill hold assistance is really important, at least to drive on to flyovers or inside mall parking. Please add your comments.
And which one you will suggest between Altroz XZS plus and i20 sportz DCT?

Whether we can change Auto to Manual gear while driving? If we do whether gear box will get affected? I'm using Nexon AMT whether I can change AMT to Manual?

@@rishikausshik00 when I asked in SRT technician told need to stop and change. I had BS VI (diesel)recycle combustion problem after 1st service, Engine will not run after 30km and some times we need to stop and start. When I gave the car to address, they took error code twice for 2nd time and sent to industry. Later they have changed the combustion part fully(no cost... Faced issue within 6mons from date of purchase Mar 2021)

3 cylinder is very cost effective interms of manufacturing / mileage tuning. So they won't go for 4 cylinder . Instead they will keep fine tuning 3 cylinder

Problem is 1.4 L size limit for tax benefits. tata has per cylinder size of 400cc. so 3 cylinder amounts to 1200 cc. If they have to make it 4 cylinder it will become 1.6l and loose tax benefits. If they had to bring it at 1.4L 4 cylinder then they have to develop a new engine which is not cost effective unless they had to completely manufacture new engines anyway in future for polution norms. With electric vehicles blooming, tata dont have to make a new 4 cylinder engine. Thats why they borrow 4 cylinder engine from Fiat for harrier and safari. Its just a business calculation. With turbos in hand why make a 4 cylinder🤷🏻♂️.

Am altroz xz owner. It's good. We are not facing any kind of ground clearance issue even 3 day trip with 6 members(5 adult and 12 year Boy) with full carriage. We can drive smoothly in all weights in tirumala hills. Rear sheet you can feel like verna or Honda city. That much width...

Hyundai and Maruti safety ilanalum well tuned engines and so many features..
Also not every Maruti & Hyundai buyers meets with accidents daily..
