I'm so glad you gave Tarte a second chance. They do have some great products, and I love the skin care products I ha e tried from Tarte. The knockout tingling treatment is one of my top skin care products. ❤
Emergency stain remover from a 5 star hotel: Ice water and laundry detergent! It’s never failed :)
I haven't ordered from Tarte in a long time. I also got bored with them and felt like their releases were super lazy, but now I am thinking it might be worth checking out again. Love travel size options!
I actually love Tarte’s tubing mascara for the lower lashes. It does an amazing job lengthening them, doesn’t transfer AT ALL, and something about the wand shape prevents smudgy accidents better than most. I also really like their Creaseless Concealer. It is very hydrating, great for mature skin, and even doubles as an eye shadow base for me. Pat a little Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder or Givenchy Prisme Libre loose powder to set and I get a pretty flawless under eye with close to 12-hour wear. Easily my top 2 favorite Tarte products.
I’ve ALWAYS LOVED TARTE AND STILL DO 😊👍!! They’re one of the very few brands that actually pay attention to and cater to the maturer demographic like myself 🥳👏and hallelujah 🤩!!! Their ingredients are what makes their hero products staples in one’s makeup and beauty collection. Their prices aren’t absorbent , and never waiver on their mission goal of exclusivity to everyone.
My Tarte products sit side by side with my NARS makeup and skincare line front and center in my massive proud collection ❣️❣️!! I truly love and appreciate both these OG brands , bcuz they’re not forgetting about us mature consumers who battle hooded lids , fine lines & wrinkles on our eyes and lips . If anything I’d have to say (in my opinion) that they’ll always continue to remain relevant in this ever changing beauty industry for most of us that are above 40,50,60 year old customers 😁🥰!!! And yeah , it’s worth repeating that I LOVE TARTE , and to be a brand that confidently, and always remembers their mature consumer base has a significant amount of buying power as well 😉👌🩷!!
For these age groups, I strongly believe that brands like Natasha Denona, Patrick Ta, Viseart and Makeup Forever are a better choice. Their eyeshadows look amazing on textured skin. Unfortunately, Tarte has been hit and miss, and unless you can test the product before buying (which is not always possible), I'd say - stay clear of Tarte.
The Tarte Sweet Cravings sugar Rush eye shadow palette is one of the greatest eye shadow palettes ever. The color story is gorgeous & the shadows are so vibrant & pigmented. It's on sale now on the Tarte website. I'm planning to get the new Glow Bar ppwder blush palette next. I've loved Tarte's face palettes in the past, & I know I'm going to love this!
I love their shadows just because they are more natural and great for the daily makeup look. I have almost all of them.
When I need to do an eyeshadow look and not sure what to do, I find Tarte palettes sets me up for success. Lots of options
I have very dry skin too and it just can't handle the Face Tape foundation, but the Foundcealer foundation is amazing in my opinion.

Tarte has never been a favorite for me but I have been absolutely loving the sculpt tape contour wand!! I saw their new stick bronzers and blushes in store and almost picked one up.. they looked so beautiful! Might have to go back and get one of each
I have the Tartelette in bloom palette and it’s probably my favorite one, precisely because the pigments are not too strong, so it is easy to use and the colors blend nicely, the palette smells good, I chiefly don’t want Tarte to change anything in their palettes, that’s why we love them. But I understand your point of view considering the job you are doing.
Their tinted hydrator is super natural and beautiful
I found myself straying from them too since the Shape Tape, I do not like that concealer, but they’re putting out some good things and I’m excited to shop the brand again.
I really like Tarte Clay blushes and lip products. And I loved their Icy Betch palette, lol. Also like Shape Tape concealer. Thanks for updating me on some of their newer stuff!

I've been using Tarte for 8 years, and I love them! The BB tinted cream is beautiful, perfect consistency and and not so cakey.

I have a lot of Tarte products. I have the liquid blushes and use them a lot. One of my favs. I also have both the full size concealer as well as mini for travel. I like the concealer that much that I want it when I travel. I have the Tartlette in Bloom eyeshadow palette and enjoy it a lot. An easy look. Glad to see a full face of Tarte products, Morgan. For those of us who loves our beauty products, which is everybody here obviously …. We all know it is rare, that we completely finish a product with the exception of a cleanser and moisturizer’s.
When you have a dozen + Primers I know I tend to pick up some more often, and the others just make their way to the back of the primer drawer.
I have never finished an eyeshadow palette … never in my 40 years. The same with Blushes…
There was one lip product that I used daily for work .
It’s been so many years I don’t recall what it was named. I know it was a Maybelline lipstick and it came in a tube and the color was RAISIN.
THIS WAS BACK IN THE late 90S -20.
The line was discontinued and all I went online and bought all I could find in that color … after my hunt and gather fest I had about 16 of them..
The formula was soft, and it was a beautiful shade on me .. not too burgundy not too brown and I had a beautiful semi gloss finish.
Well, as I sit today, I don’t have anymore I have used them all … once in a while I’d find one in an old pocketbook or in a pocket of a coat. That was years ago they’re long gone😢.
Anyway, I forgot we were talking about the minis and yes, I love them. First and foremost for the money and I am terrible at returns. I don’t return anything I just give it away or throw it in the drawer for a year or two and then toss it… It’s a terrible waste, but it’s the truth.. therefore, I will choose a mini every time if I can.
I love the tartelette palette. It was the first palette I splurged on and I still love it.
I HAD to quit using a liner in the water lines because it makes my already dry eyes drier. It was very uncomfortable. They’ve been better since I’ve stopped using that technique. The liner blocks the glands in the eyelids from pushing their lubricants to the surface, so the eyes feel dry.

I don’t like the foundation you used but the Foundcealer has been my favorite since it came out. Nothing has touched it. Tarte is pretty great.
Also that double ended eyeliner is my favorite. The light color covers any redness in my waterline and also any black that may have transferred down from the top.
GIRL. Your eyeliner ATE. I know you said you don't really like dark colors in your lower lash line but it could totally set a luxurious dark feminine vibe for your makeup, and it looked great! Also that wing- SNATCHED.
I use a lot of Tarte! The glow powder is my favorite highlight. The stick is my second favorite, haha!
Tarte was one of my first favorite higher end brand to love and I have never strayed from it. Not everything works for me but that’s the way with all brands

I wish they had more cool toned shadows, as they run mostly warm. But tarte has so many good products. I love their mascaras, their shadows wear well and don’t irritate my sensitive eyes, and they have cleaner ingredients generally
Tarte is amazing I bought a ton at that sale, VERY AMAZING QUALITY I think you will love it.
I love the Shape Tape Cloud CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen. Its medium build-able to full coverage. Doesn't sink into my lines, still looks good after a 13 hour shift and because I usually use it more like a medium coverage it looks very skin like. If days I go heavier all over, it can give a more makeup look, but still smooth. It took me several tries to find a new base that I liked for my mature skin after IT stopped making their solid foundation.. but this is the one.

You know Morgan I really like Tarte as a brand, love the story behind the brand and the ethics and I do personally have quite a few pieces from them. I only have a couple of the eyeshadow palettes as I've just got rid of quite a few due to the fact that they are not as pigmented as other brands I have, but I have the palette you used as well as the toasted, but 2 products didn't do it for me were the contour wand and the glow setting powder, but I am on the wait list for the stick contour in the shade After Dark (I think that's what they called it) but yeah I really did enjoy watching this video and Thank You 🌟

Also I really miss their old foundation called "tastiest of the sea" it was a serum foundation with a dropper and it was beautiful. Definitely ahead of its time. I wish they would bring it back.

When you get a chance try the maracuja juicy glow foundation. The one in the slim tube with the wooden looking top. It’s sooooo good. One of the few glowy products that don’t look artificial it’s like the perfect glow. And although it’s a foundation or atleast marketed as one it looks more like a skin tint. Didn’t get much hype but it’s beautiful and somewhat of a new release!
I wanna try their new "Maneater " contour sticks. They look really good.
Ok but their PORELESS PRIMER & BRONZERS, SHADOWS, & SKIN CARE IS SOOOO GOOD. I've never left Tarte... Also, their creamy concealerr is good and their packaging is always luxe❤

I believe the Shape Tape Creamy Concealer was the last thing I bought from Tarte. Just like Two Faced and Urban Decay, Tarte is a brand I don't gravitate towards. Maybe if the overall quality of their products was improved on, especially their eyeshadow palettes, I could be persuaded to buy from them again.
Incidentally, I hated the original Shape Tape Concealer.

I think the liquid highlight from tarte (not the "tape" one but the original one with a tiny sponge in the cap on one end and it has a doe-foot applicator) are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Those are definitely under-hyped.

The brand tarte is an affordable makeup brand for a beginner I would say who is trying to be a makeup artist. I did not watch this whole video but half the video I watched from this was amazing. I would say tarte never disappoints. May you do a skin care video? Keep up the good work Morgan 🎉

You need to try the new formulation of the Amazonian clay gem powder foundation. I use it as a setting powder and it just as good if not better than the hourglass loose powder.

My latest acquisition from Tarte was the holiday (I think) duo - cold and warm ranges, sucked. The cold palette shades just turned into muddy mess and mattes were patchy ... Love their Tartelette though, mostly because it's a universal nude mattes palette.

I like a bit of tarte items. I loved their brushes so much but they're always limited edition type things I think at least the foundation brush I absolutely loved lol. Now a lot are dual ended though and that's not my jam.
Idk about tarte, I’ve actually never bought any products from them because as someone with a deeper skin tone I find that the shades for deeper skin tones are pretty shocking, there’s so many shades for light skin but 3 shades for deeper skin. I just think they can do better.
I have to tartlett and tartlett in bloom pallets. They are HORRIBLE they are patchy. Pigment us non existent and just yuk to use

I make fun of Tarte all the time, but their Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector is my favorite concealer and if they discontinue that I might actually cry out like Darth Vader “No!”
And yes, I’ve tried the undereye corrector from Becca (now Smashbox has it). I hate it. 😂

I’m a Huda/Melt/Fenty girl all the way, but I have almost two dozen Tart brushes, I just love the gold with the natural bamboo, every brush they release, I buy, and I need to stop it. I just can’t get enough of their brushes, but as a dark skinned woman, my first attempts with Tart makeup left me looking dusty, and ashy, as all of their products were to lightly pigmented, with light color stories for everything. Their “smoky” eye shadow colors are the same color as my skin in an ashy sort of way, it’s a no for me.
