You haven’t read a lot of fairy lore then. Most of the time the pretty sparkly stuff is smoke and mirrors. It gets pretty ugly underneath. Fate Lore wise you could be on to something though.

@@naehalmulazim They are probably talking about the Unseelie court, or faes, which goblins, trolls and other malicious beings are one of these. Their lore and myth are quite different from the Fairies we see in shows. The "fairies" in the Lost Children Arc of Berserk would be a similar example in my opinion.

Man with his np giving enemies invul, Muramasa's crit skill gonna be actually somewhat useful.
What are you talking about? He has the best self Crit skill in the game, the bonus to Invul targets is just a bonus. Super Orion can probably crit harder but that's cuz of all his other kit and the fact that there is not Crit Art buffer like Merlin for Buster and Skadi for Quick.
@@bobjones4469 Ik for that one, I meant to say Oberon can give the condition where Muramasa's 200% crit buff that only active when invul or dodge is active on the enemy procs.

This oberon really like a fairy, but when he shows himself as pretender, he looks like half fairy and half dark fairy, which makes him looks so badass.

So to summarize everything here:
Barely anyone has read the description that HE CHANGES CLASS everytime you play him as an NPC. So, Neobenedict, what classes does Oberon use? We can probably rule out the ones that do appear (either that or like Fae Lancelot *is she still melusine though?* we got a unique skill that changes sprite AND class midbattle so gamechanger already)
An NP that gives NPs Invincibility. Lol. Would still try to roll in 2 years
Such... shiny animations but also... so much dark undertones or liquid-ish things
That description is... ominous. A shame we don't know what his NP or skills are called.
His np is call: rye rhymes Goodfellow
Fae Lancelot seems to be Melusine but corrupted by Albion's energy somehow, so she isn't really Melusine anymore nor is she the true Albion either.
As for Oberon's animations, I love the contrast between the modern fairytale ones and the grimm-esque oldschool fairytale ones, shows that Oberon is a true fae king and could potentially pull off both ends of the spectrum with zeal.

"He changes Classes everytime you use him as NPC..." sounds like Oberon has mastered some Knights classes and has some "protection" against them since "he's still one of the Kings of this Lostbelt" but his motive to find his wife "Titania" is shallow since he himself acknowledged that fact that "him nor Titania should have been recorded as Servants" since they're both from a human's fiction. Even he himself doubts his motive since "he strongly believes that Titania might not be here, but he still continues to search for her". As for why the NP gimmick, remember that "him and Titania were rulers of the night, hence they guarded humans through their sleep" more particularly "on kids", since fairies are fond of human children and taking them away to raise as their kids.

Context : If Oberon is in the party , his passive cancel all of Merlin's buffs
It doesn't cancel them completely but it gives them a 20% chance to fail.

It would be cool if his 3rd Skill’s effect is changing into any class and we can choose whatever class we want kinda like Space Ishtar we can choose and select which kind of Card Types but for Oberon its Class Type.
That could be very useful, bringing someone that can give 20% gauge and np damage up to the party and give 50% charge to any servant while being able to be any class is good generic support, like Waver.
Welp, we instead got a skill that can finally make overworked servants rest 💀

In the shakespeare's story, Oberon have a particular medicine that when it applied to someone eyes when they asleep, they will fall in love to whatever creature that appear when they open their eyes.
But all those skills doesn't have charm? I hope they add it and maybe do extra damage to charmed enemy

it seems a bit weird, but when you notice that it matches the color of the orbs it's a lot less strange since he has colors matching both of them for his attacks.

On the other hand: Smol Mothberon.

I haven't even reached this point in the story and I already believe this guy to be somewhat evil. A LOT of his attacks have the classic black mud from the holy grail, this screams corruption of some kind.
He has an evil look in his eyes in the trailer video too. So far in the story he's been helpful but suspicious.
Three of my big theories as to his true idea:
1. Puck aka. Robin Goodfellow (the real Oberon's emissary)
2. A "mini" clone of Zepia created through the latter's Memory Partition ability (similar to the Nemo series).
3. Francois Prelati (mystery passive skill makes him anathema to Merlin and gives him a strangely weak connection to foreigners - possibly a reference to either Beelzebub or the Sunken Spiral Palace)

The black mud combined with the shiny flashy lights...I can already sense something fishy with him. If he ends up as our enemy I would be quite sad as I actually liked Oberon a lot but oh well. Maybe he will be an alter ego since we don't know his true class yet and with this mix of "light and dark" it's definitely hinting at something.
The only fairy besides Aurora and that other in the starting nodes that actually looks like a fairy. With fitting animations to match. Go Fairy King. :D (Muryan is a pixie)

Maybe his third skill allows him to change classes? That would be cool as hell.
Cool and gamechanger since we have gotten servants that in their lore, they themselves have told us that they could also be other classes since at their prime they were proficient in magic or the usage of other weapons.
What if Oberon becomes the first servant to have a class changing skill, I think he would be just as good as Space Ishtar was when she was the first to change card NP to whichever she wanted and while game change and really cool, it would not break the game because it can be a one or two turns only and then he goes back to his original form. I would pull like crazy if that were to be the case

@@gwagner1380 it would not break the game because of one particularly huge drawback: his NP gives Invincibility to enemies.
There would be no point to that if he isn't a damage dealer. Change class is a gimmick that benefits damage dealers and looping servants.
Seeing how Fairy Lancelot's allows her to change NPs and we've had skills that change class affinity, it isn't that farfetched.
