Those “rattle cans” of new are nothing like spray cans of old. 😉 I used one of those tall 😮 Rust oleum rattle cans on lawn furniture that looked like crap ( primed and sanded of course) and WoW! Amazing results. The Burb looks great!
I have a 92 4x4 silverado. The roof n hood does it. I spent 6500.00 to have it stripped and repainted in 2001. The roof had peeled and rusting. The hood is peeling. It's white. I quit buying GM products after my lumina ltz leaked oil and would not start half the time. I bought a ford and traded it in 3 years for a nissan. The nissan never went back to dealership for nothing. I sold it and bought a ram 2018 (ordered) red 4x4 with everything the factory would allow. Never a min of trouble so far.
There's no end to Daves hidden skills , that's the kind of job I like , 5 cases seems more than fair , saved yourself a fortune and it looks great ...had to chuckle about Daves premonition to get the beers before the pay talk 😂
Dave, I think it is time for a contract renegotiation. You are a highly skilled worker and need to be compensated as such! I will represent you (for a small fee) if you like! 🤣🤣🤣
Dave you’re really making it rough on the less enthusiastic husbands like me. I think I’m going to have to bring this up at the next meeting and see what the brothers have to say about this dangerous behavior of yours.😉😆👍🏼😎
NICE! Another UAW member. I also worked at GM Fremont, CA in the paint dept. I was a masker from 71-80.
Small world isn't it. Thanks for watching.
I see now if I get to meet Mr Dave I'm gonna have to bring a keg with me 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😊😊😊😊
Miller Light please. LOL
WOW what don’t you know how to do, you blow me away with your knowledge and work you do
I'll give just about anything a try. Love taking on a challenge. Thanks for watching.

I know, love how good the spray paint does.
Dave, this is still my favorite rig! I love old burbs! 250,000 mikes is just getting broke in….
Dennis
I love the ole girl too. She's been a good pony.

It does seem to be GM white the most. What a pain.

Sneaky getting the beer first. LOL Don't think that will work next time though.
You always do great work, Dave😊
Thanks so much. :)
Good job Dave from another GM er from north of the border
Hey there GMer. Thanks for watching.
Sold! I would buy it!
Dennis
I'm gonna keep as long as possible, then pick it up, dust it off and get some more out of her as long as I can still find parts. :)
Well at least you didn't give him your charge card and he came back with a new suburban!
LOL. My card might get him one tire. LOL
Looks great! Good job Dave!
Thank you! Cheers!
impressive work Dave!
Well, thank you very much.
Lmao great job ! Lol way to stay ahead of the labor union boss !😂
You know it! 👍
Good job...if motor is good...everything works...keep it...put a little lipstick on it...she'll be fine..🤩
You got that right. We don't buy many things new. Hang on to what we got for as long as we can.
Good job dave looks really good
I'm really happy with how it turned out. Now I'm not embarrassed to drive it. :)
Hello Dave and Karen I had a 1998 Chevy Lumina it was white too and the paint was peeling
For some reason white was bad. Thx for watching.
Looks great!
Thanks!
Awesome
Thank you

Small fee...beer right? LOL You did see the last negotiation didn't you? czcams.com/video/SRUV7FAeOeA/video.html
@@WattsOnWheels of course, but I am starting to think Dave needs another "cost of living" increase! LOL!
Good video 😊 just get a keg wow 250 thousand did you ever have to rebuild the transmission 🤔😀
No rebuild yet...still all original.

I still have the majority vote...Oh, no I don't, Karen does. I'll try and rectify my dangerous behavior. See you at the meeting. LOL
It’s not just GM paint. My wife bought a 2017 Hyundai “white” and three years later the dealer repainted the entire car. No cost to us.
Yep, Karen saw a Honda the other day also white. Glad they repainted that for you at no cost.
hey dave when do we get to see the finale of the bike lift??
The storage unit will not let me work on it there. I will have a place to work on it this summer. Videos will be coming then. Thanks for asking.
yall need some spinner wheels on that suburban
And boogey lights. LOL
❤
Hi guys. Thanks for watching and the heart.
Hey Dave did you paint my 2000 Chevy express cargo van? Maybe you can help me repaint that too lol
LOL...No vans. You're on your own buddy.
I always thought it was water borne paint in the beginning when the epa mandated its use. But that might have been one of those wife’s tails
Nope, we were using acrylic lacquers and enamel when I worked at GM a long time ago.
How many beers for the interview, to find out how many beers it took to paint it?
6. I think 6 should be the minimum for everything.
