OMG...Seeing one is sheer delight but TWICE the amount...I am overwhelmed with joy at seeing them both together....I love the noises they make too. The vets and keepers are sooooo lucky to be able to work with them...I am so envious! Great video too:)

Zoo Atlanta I recently went to zoo Atlanta and I saw Mei Lun and Mei Huan all grown up and it's sad that they are back in China but I am so excited to see the new cubs in the winter

Lun Lun nurses and warms one cub while the other rests in an incubator, ensuring both receive an equal share of maternal care without overexerting her. In the wild, giant panda mothers typically care for only one cub when twins are born. Thus, it is normal in the wild for only one of the twins to survive. Giant panda twins have survived in zoos within and outside of China. Usually this is accomplished by rotating the cubs.
