The way Suko tricked Kong into being attacked by drownviper only to singlehandedly decapitate the creature and with ease too. Not to mention Kong fought most of Sukos brethren before it and even offered Suko food showing Kongs compassion, and at the end he slowly acknowledges Kong and thinks to himself “he…may just save us from Skar king”

Some say Parrot Frog and Drownviper were unnecessary, but that's not true Parrot Frog set the tone for the movie, with Kong looking for others like him and Drownviper scene showed that Suko is smart too (he lured Kong to it) and later allowed for Kong and Suko bonding moment
Obv, it’s already obv that Godzilla is able to beat Kong as seen in GxK, Tiamat has razor sharp fins and more abilities compared to the Drownviper and considering the fact that Drownviper easily got sliced to pieces by an uncharged dorsal axe proves that Tiamat will win, she will cut the Drownviper to pieces
While not revolutionary, the silent storytelling was actually better, giving the kaiju time to showcase thier personalities, especially Kong and how Zuko mimics him as a role model, which is a little endearing. Not 10/10 blowyourmindaway but still more than one would expect from a Godzilla and Kong movie.
I liked that it wasn't shown in the trailers, we saw Kong looking at it but at that time we all thought he's looking at Godzilla and I like how it has teeth on the tongue, like Mosasaurus (though Mosasaurus had extra teeth on the jaw, but still, same concept)
Kong did already Fight the Kraken, a creature that lives in the Water and is much bigger than Kong himself and Won, he also got a lot of experience when he did fight Godzilla in the Water. I can imagin that the Drownviper will become one of Kongs Snacks like the Mire Squid in future Movies
A part of me wonders whether the titan spine Skar King uses as a whip is actually the remains of a Drown Viper, or possibly even the skeleton of a warbat, considering they are both serpentine MUTOs found in the Hollow Earth.
