Bob Saget and Norm Madonald were extremely good lifelong friends. Both men died unexpectedly (to the outside world) well younger than normal, within months of each other. I hope they're having a laugh together.

My Mom passed away after a long battle with scleroderma. Thank you Bob Saget for your years of support in raising funds, and thank you Rich for mentioning his work. I hope someone can pick up where Bob left off. It's a brutal disease that is underfunded.

I’m sorry for your loss. My Mom has it, as well. It is so hard to watch her suffer, but she is relatively stable. I spend as much time with her as I can because I don’t know when my last chance will be. Bob is a wonderful man for bringing more awareness to this horrible disease.

When I think of my childhood Bob is one of my first thoughts, he was my Sunday night every week as a kid growing up in the 90’s.
Dude basically helped raise me as a kid ... We watched his show every day.

Full House and America's Funniest Home Videos was a big part of my childhood. Learning about how loose Bob Saget was, it was a huge culture shock for me.
It’s amazing seeing how many people were so deeply affected by Bob Saget. Truly a good man. The world is much darker today.

@ku200986 I don’t even think it’s a case of jealousy, I think some people are just shitty and hid behind silly screen names to say shitty things they KNOW they’d never get away with saying in the real world.
We lost a good man with Bob’s passing. My kids loved his prime time show. And I loved his raunchy humor. He was the type of guy every guy wants as a friend.
I have that disease Rich. I watched the TV movie about her struggle with it. My was cried. Thankfully I have a lesser version, but I am for ever grateful to his commitment to this cause. He will be missed. Thank you for your heartfelt tribute.
Bless Bob Saget. I appreciate this man's duality. He's a man after my own heart. I watch The Aristocrats every half year and enjoy the raw humour he displays.

I am just completely heart broken about this loss. It’s hits me, a 41 year old, hard; he was all of our father, Danny Tanner. A piece of all people aged 35 -50 died with Bob Saget last night. May he truly rest in paradise. He will be sorely missed. X

I knew a guy who hated Bob Saget for years stemming from an incident that happened when said guy took Saget for a Jeep Tour in Sedona. This grudge lasted until he met Saget again, confronted him, and received a wholehearted apology from Bob.

I met him at a restaurant in Indianapolis about 15yrs ago he was insanely nice to my family and I. My dad was a career truck driver and a bit rough around the edges Bob had an innate ability to know his audience and had my dad in stitches in the whole time and it was FILTHY. He very well could be the funniest man ever because his whole schtick works so well with his full house wholesome persona that jars so incredibly with his filthy comedy. Dude is a legend.
He's made us laugh and now he's made us cry. Bob was that good. Not many people can impact other human beings in that way but Bob was special. We're going to miss you forever Bob, thank you for everything!
It’s interesting how most people are quick to say “Bob was nothing like Danny Tanner”. Here, Rich says, “That was him too, man.” What a beautiful combination of a human.

I’ve seen a few of the tributes that Rich has made for some of his friends who have passed over the years and I don’t think the sports world will take a hit like it will when Rich passes. I hope he lives much much longer but man, I don’t think there’s anyone involved in sports that I love more than Rich Eisen.

A great and fitting tribute Rich from one of Bob's many many friends. It' hard to believe when someone as young as Bob passes especially with another great friend of his, Norm Macdonald also passing recently, unreal. Bob seemed to have lived a great life however and was happy to be back doing stand up. RIP Bob And Norm.
It seems as though he was blessed ,to be around wonderful loving friends such as yourself. I've yet to hear a bad word about the man. I'm sure he smiling somewhere listening to this wonderful story.

A beautiful tribute. Since Bob's passing there are two words that the world has heard a lot for the first time in quite awhile, kindness & love. Everyone who knew him said he was kind and he said to many friends/guests in his podcasts he believed in telling people the importance of saying I love you each and everyday to those he loved. More than his comedy and passing away relatively young, this will be his legacy. Rest in Peace Bob.

He was in my town not long after Norm's death, and I'm kicking myself for not going to see him. RIP
Had a free ticket to Petty's last show and stayed in to do some paperwork I could've done whenever. I didn't think.
This poor guy has had so many close friends pass away. Stuart, Bob, other ESPN people. He really loved these people. It hurts so much for him to do this. People will say such nice things about him later too.
