That sure was nice of Willow to stop by and check on your progress. 😉☺️👍🏻
Willow says Kevin you've played with the truck enough today, come in and spend sometime with me.😸
That’s a nice looking shaft you have! You’re at the finish line brother. Can’t wait to see it on the road
Looking sweet!
No more bluetooth drivetrain!!! I think it's Willow approved.
Saint Cloud Florida! Great video!

Sorry just found your video on Brakes.....
Had my drive shaft for my Honda CRV replaced in Arizona. Better them than me. It was fun finding parts. After all it's 23 years old. Ran on two wheel for a couple of weeks. It looks like the finish line is in sight, for you and you can start the rumble. 😊 soooooon. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒
I went to my local professional driveshaft shop and had shafts made for my 2 dr Jeep TJ (extremely short). Brand new the price was lower than Tom Woods for the exact same shaft/spline,etc set up plus i had them 2 days later. I'm going to do the same thing for my 83 Silverado K20 6" lift with 37s. Not knocking Woods but the internet has put him on a pedestal and acts like if the shafts don't come from Woods, they ain't good enough. But I do enjoy watching your videos, keep up the good work.
I agree, local shops generally are cheaper. I just don't know any local shops here yet.
Like the Pumpkins paint design and the orange. Are you trying to tell us you are a Bengals fan? Or? lol Good stuff Keep up the good work.
Lol, no Bengals for me, I’m a Broncos fan
Eldorado Kansas
Your local auto parts store can get you the strap kit.
For sure. I tend to order a lot of stuff online due to my work hours.
I'm doing a similar project at the moment. Curious why you didn't go with a CV and flange on the rear shaft over the single u-joint? I opted for the CV even with only a 2 inch lift. It cuts the joint oscillation in half resulting in a smoother running shaft and longer life. Side benefit is being able to use a disc brake on the flange for a "real" parking brake, especially since you converted to rear disc.
I was able to get the proper driveline angles with shims cheaper that doing a CV style, which possibly would need shims too. It just wasn't necessary. My rear disc brake conversion has "real" parking brakes too.
Is that a driveshaft or are you just happy to see me?
its you, definitely you.....

Shouldn't the slip portion be at the transfer case? Or does it not matter? Thanks! Lexington, SC.
it can go either way. the slip end is generally stronger for dragging over rocks so I went that way.
Just found channel...I have a 97 K3500.....Where did you get the Disk Brakes for the rear? Location: Garden City KS
I used a kit from Lugnut 4x4
How much longer where the shafts over stock.
It’s kinda hard to measure length difference, since they are different types of shafts, especially the rear. I’d say the front is is 1 or 2” longer
I’m doing a similar build. Ordered a Ord 6” lift be here this week. sitting on a 74 chassis. But it has a 55’ gmc body. Someone already upgraded my drive shafts just seeing what you had on length to see if I have to order new ones. Good videos. Keep it up. Oh and add a pin from San Diego.
