    After watching several other tutorial videos on this stitch, I really like yours the best! You show the steps very clearly, at just the right pace to follow along. So thank you! I'm planning to make a rectangular table runner so this video showed me what I need to know.
    One question for clarification, you stated that you make three loops at the end of a row, and at the end of the foundation chain, you attached at the third sc in the row. However, I just want to clarify, for all the additional times that you turn your work, are you also attaching at the third sc from the hook? It was hard to tell at 7:32 in the video. Thanks in advance!

      Happy to hear you are finding this tutorial easy to follow!
      The first row is different from all the rest. After the first row, each time you turn, you just attach the third loop in one of the previous joins. At 7:29 I'm showing how it should look after turning. It is hard to explain with just words! The loops on the previous row form like V-shapes upside down and you always attach at the top of that upside V. That way the edge stays straight. I hope this explains it, would really need a photo but you can't attach a photo here!

      Yes, I loved that yarn. It was by KnitCrate that unfortunately has stopped trading.

  • @icherishcrochetandknit309

    Hi Tuula, at the end of the first row, isn't there supposed to be a total of 4 loops on the end? I only see 3? This is the first time for me doing it in rows 😘

    • @TuulaMaaria
      @TuulaMaaria  Před 4 lety +1

      No, when you make it with straight edges, it is only 3 loops to turn. Otherwise it would start growing bigger sideways.

    • @icherishcrochetandknit309
