I see how they changed their choreo to match with Navarro. I just watched their 2021 routine it was phenomenal! Well deserved win! I was torn but seeing both routine side by side TVCc was more cohesive and put together.

Yeah. Tvcc also had a tumble touch down as well parts of the pyramid going wrong but they did an awesome job. Navarro also had a part at the end of the pyramid where it got a little bit shakey.
Great routine but it no way in hell me as a coach it would take me that long to no why tvcc were losing for so long lol. This routine loss because of zero choreo
right!! i looked back here after their 2021 performance and like… the difference is astounding. their stunts were amazing but in between it was just a whole lot of nothing

And they say cheer isn’t a SPORT ( my dad played football I went to community college and worked alongside cheerleaders so I know how hard they work ( I was a SAC : student assistant coach ) (it was something I did bcoz I was 5”7 and couldn’t be on the team bcoz I couldn’t be a flyer bcoz of depth perception so I asked and the coach agreed ) any advice on how to be a student coach for a college team( any advice for someone in my position who wants to try out but knows that she is better suited as a student assistant
I feel like Navarro's reputation is too much exaggerated by Netflix, because I used to be very impressed by people like Lexi, but then I realized that there were still people out there able to do what she could do. (She's still extremely talented, though) I also agree that TVCC's stunts and pyramids are better than Navarro's (I realized that TVCC didn't have much boys on the team in 2019, and probably this is why they didn't get as many points), which are what I love about cheer. I don't want to be judgmental, but the characters of some people in Navarro are just...not nice. They're loud, quick-tempered and...self-centered and prideful. I don't understand why people find them charming, I mean, people should put focus on cheerleading, and on their amazing skills and performance (their dance routine was amazing, and the last part was just naughty XD), but instead people were attracted to some individuals' rough backgrounds, queer characteristics...
This was the routine of the 2nd place cheer leading team, "Trinity Valley" - we only saw a couple of quick clips from this routine but from different angles. This was the team on the left of the stage as Navarro was announced the winner.
How come they legit copied like everything from Navarro…like winners don’t steal they become unique…. Like their 2021 and 2022 retinue looks like a copied version from Navarro
the colleges in your area are probably regular 4 year university's, navarro is hyped up because they can match those teams even though they get their athletes for 2 years less
In competitive cheerleading, the point is to get the crowd as loud as possible. As an all star cheerleader myself, hearing people screaming like that is what gives me the adrenaline to finish a routine
Lmao what? You can learn a trade/go to college/do whatever else you want and also put your heart into a sport, if it brings you joy why stop? There’s no rule that says that you have to focus every waking moment on one thing (and most people don’t)
Some of these athletes get scholarships to college for cheerleading and alot of them go on to become coaches and stuff so it's really not a waste of energy.

TVCC lost to Navarro because of their tosses :( they did 3 sets of full twist while Navarro did 4 sets of step out full twist)
Also at the end on tvccs pyramid it looked like the girl fell but it could have been part of the routine
