This video is about 3M spot checks, which is a critical part of ensuring the integrity of various systems on any ship. It is the second of the three videos that the Admiral addressed. I had to show this to an Army coworker who didn’t believe me and thought it was hilarious. The 3M system and spot checks are one of the reasons I left the Navy. Nobody should have to put up with that much nonsense and feel like they're always doing some board or just wasting time. I’m now in the Army and we do PMCS checks, and it’s so much more straight-forward, efficient, and effective. Also, don't act like it's because the Navy is smarter. Over complicating things does not make the branch smarter. If that was the case, the Navy/Marines/Coast Guard wouldn't have switched over to the Army way of things with TCCC on medical casualty assessments. Anyone who has served in the Navy or worked with these fat clowns is aware of how very outdated and overly bureaucratic nonsense paperwork the Navy generates. It's not practical nor efficient. Please get rid of that garbage system. I’m glad I’m in the Army now.
