      I still love mine! I use every other day just because I like to see it cleaning - lol

      Just Got Mine a few weeks ago 😁. Loving the small size, the Braava m6 is a little too big to fit behind the toilet, he tries soooo hard to and ends up getting stuck. The little 240 fits with room to spare 👍

      Thank you for the great comment. I really liked doing this review. I am hoping to create more like this going forward. Thanks again!

    Idea that works: Since we can't add any washing ingredients to the water tank...try spreading dishwashing liquid on the floor, THEN mop with your machine...worked for me!

      You can add the braava jet cleaning solution to the water when using the reusable pads.

    If you have a few hundred dollars sitting around and a constantly dirty bathroom floor it’s a match made in heaven!

    We have an epoxy-sealed floor, but the area is quite large: 20'x40'. Will this robot mop be able to clean the entire 800 sf if we let it roam at night?
    Also, what about harder to clean stuff that's stuck on the floor? Let's say you spill syrup or if chocolate melts on the floor, then solidifies - can this thing clean/scrub/or even detect that?
    Thanks!

    • @Pfienixgolf
      @Pfienixgolf  Před 5 lety +5

      I also have a large area to clean and it runs for about 90 mins. so it covers pretty much the whole area. You can always stop it, add more water, and place it back on the floor to run longer. In terms of harder to clean items like syrup or chocolate, it will go over it, but it won't totally clean it up. It doesn't sense things on the floor, it just goes all over the place for 90 mins. (There are 3 patterns you can select) I use it as more of a general cleaning mop every few days, but I have to mop the floor manually 1/ month to clean it very well. Again, I think this is a great little mop for what it does. I hope that helps.

    Hej, thanks for review. Do you know if to exchange the flat battery on the fully charged one in the middle of the task , would it continue task or would it start from scratch?

    • @Pfienixgolf
      @Pfienixgolf  Před 4 lety +2

      I'm glad you liked the review. I only have one battery, but I believe if you changed out the battery while it was cleaning it would just keep going until the battery ran out. You would probably have to add more water. I've turned mine off while it was cleaning, added water and placed it back down with no issue. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for commenting.

    Can cleaning solutions be used instead of just water?

    • @Pfienixgolf
      @Pfienixgolf  Před 5 lety +7

      The instructions say you are only supposed to use water. What I do, is when it starts, spray a little vinegar or light cleaning solution in front of it and the pad will pick it up as it goes. Hope that helps. Thanks.

      @CountCarbsNotCals Před 5 lety +4

      You can use water. But you can squirt a little cleaning solution on the pad. That's what i do. Also get the reusable mop pads, they are great.

    Sometimes when i run it it goes about 2 ft area and stops, sometimes cleans entire room. Why? Is there a certain orientation or suggestion to "START" him off?

    • @Pfienixgolf
      @Pfienixgolf  Před 5 lety

      I haven't had that issue before but I try to start it at about 2ft from any wall. Not sure if that makes a difference or not. I did find this video on troubleshooting the Bravva that might help - czcams.com/video/llQYeqi2gFY-/video.html----Thanks

    Just got this for Christmas from hubby. My concern is my wooden table and chairs and my buffet. Looks like it will spray them and ruin the wood. What do you think.

    • @Pfienixgolf
      @Pfienixgolf  Před 3 lety

      Sorry I missed your comment. It shoots a pretty low stream of water pointed at the floor. You can see in the start of the video if you watch closely. Plus, as you have probably noticed by now it's not a steady stream. More of a spray, wipe for about 30 seconds, then another spray. Hope this helps.

    If you use a reusable pad, how is there any solution/soap on the pad, after washing it? Does it need solution poured into the water?

    • @Pfienixgolf
      @Pfienixgolf  Před 4 lety +2

      After using a pad, I usually give it a good scrubbing in the sink with some soap and just put it on some paper towel to dry it off. Then, after I use them a few times I will put them in a load of wash, but you don't need to put them in the wash after every use. Your not supposed to put any solution in the water. I will put a little bit of vinegar, but they say not to add any cleaner in the water.

    • @daiv2424
      @daiv2424 Před 3 lety

      There's the Braava jet hard floor cleaning solution that you can add to the water when using the reusable pads.

    What happens if you have an area rug in the room?

    • @Pfienixgolf
      @Pfienixgolf  Před 5 lety

      I don't have an area rug in my kitchen, but I would assume it would move up against it and bump it then move on. I don't think it would be strong enough to climb up on the rug. I hope that helps.

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters Před 5 lety

      Sometimes it will push the area rug aside depending how thick the rug is. If its really thin, may try to mop the area rug. 😦

    Do your Keepow pads make your braava make a buzzing sound? I just got them and they make an unbearable sound.

    • @Pfienixgolf
      @Pfienixgolf  Před 5 lety

      Really?, no, mine doesn't make a sound at all? I wonder if your Bravva has something stuck in the gear to make a noise like that. Very odd, sorry.

    Be warned, the rubber on the wheels wears out very fast, 6 months in my case. The robot is then useless until you replace the rubber or the wheels. It's very hard to find the right parts online and it's hard to fit them. You have to disassemble the whole robot.

    • @Pfienixgolf
      @Pfienixgolf  Před 5 lety +2

      That's interesting. I've been using mine for about 7-8 months. I went and looked at the wheels after your comment, but I don't see much wear. I do only use mine a few times a week so maybe it comes down to use. Thanks for the comment.

    • @Withnail1969
      @Withnail1969 Před 5 lety +4

      @@Pfienixgolf actually it's turned out ok, found some replacement rubber strips for about 10 euros and stuck them on the wheels with super glue. it's working great again now. i didnt need to disassemble it either, thank goodness. it seems bleach rots the rubber on the wheels, so dont use bleach in your water when you fill it, which I was doing.

      Irobot sells replacement parts directly on their website. Including wheels. For future reference.

    It just moop or also vacuum the floor?

    • @Pfienixgolf
      @Pfienixgolf  Před 5 lety

      It's mainly a mop, but it comes with some static pads which will go over your floor and pick up animal hair, etc. If you are looking for something that is a vacuum and a mop this may not be your best option. I only use it as a mop and use a BobSweep as a vacuum. Hope that helps!
