- I am from Germany, born and raised. A couple of years ago I relocated to Australia and been living there ever since.
Can you understand Urdu and Hindi?
- I sadly can’t understand both languages fully, neither can I speak them. However I am able to understand a few words and certain phrases.
Why haven’t you reacted to my recommendation yet?
- Every day I receive countless recommendations from you guys, which I am grateful for. I am trying to read all the comments but it does happen that I miss some out. The main factor is probably my working schedule which doesn’t allow me to film videos daily. Most weeks I can only find a couple of hours in the afternoon to film 2-3 videos. Of course I’d love to film more and film all of your recommendations, however I’m trying to stick with 1 or 2 uploaded videos a week. Quality over quantity.

I'm an American, and I had the exact same reaction the first time I heard Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (PBUH). It's a spiritual gut punch of joy.
Qwalli music, I feel has deep spiritual roots. And Nusrat is the modern godfather of the genre. In South Asia and Muslim countries, and for me personally, he's almost a deity. There is no other singer I've heard who can compare. Even among Qwalli singers.
And I believe that most traditional music from all over the world has universal appeal.

So often, his music transports me. It always elevates my soul.
At that time, even without the internet, he was popular all over the world by tape recording reels. Luckily there were recording machines back then. If it weren't for that, we would have missed a lot and today's music would be far behind. He is actual creator of our current music, when new generation was going to side of western music style after leaving classical music then he mixed Classical music with Western music and research a big change in musical history that's effective on everyone young generation old generation Classical type or rock pop folk type every type of people now loving it. And by this way he also saved classical music forever. And coping of this better thing made it a normal thing now everyone music composer using the same style offcourse he don't know who is NFAK because now it's our normal music. We have adopted it. But reality is that NFAK was scientist of this research. Luckily we have internet too but there is just 30% data uploaded on internet other his almost 70% data is not uploaded on internet that's is locked in droz and almira of few people in the form of tape recording casettes and they don't want publically unbox that diamonds. Very legendary items luckily i have listen some items from someone of them wow outstanding no words to explain they are just directly connect us with God that's why i am understood that why they are not uploading them on internet after convert data format of tape. Because it's out of world. Too much lovely. They don't want share this love of them with public. And i am agree after listen some of them. Internet is nothing in front of them level.
NFAK's family is singing from more than last six hundred years (6 centuries).
One should always share the beautiful work, memories done by someone if the world is unaware . Let the world listen to much much more of this GEM 💎. I always respect and love Nusrat Sahab ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I am out here binging all of these reaction videos to Ustad NFAK and I am gleaming with joy smiling from ear to ear. As you've probably noticed, this concert was in Yokohama Japan, he transcended borders, religions, cultures, races, everything and he continues to do so after his passing. However the reason why I am smiling so much is because it is UNDENIABLE the insane amount of talent this master has as EVERY single video has everyone barely talking, barely stopping the videos and are just hypnotized and head banging.. THIS is what true powerful talent looks and sounds like. This is peak soul music.

Nusrat makes it looks so so easy, like he's just sitting there effortlessly. You only notice the complexity when the other vocalists (some of whom are ustads aswell) repeat his lines.
