I’m from California… we drove to Wisconsin to visit family and my dad got pulled over doing 85 on the highway… cop was so chill he said “this isn’t California guys slow down” let us off with a warning.. I was shocked 🤣

A few generations back started a tradition where they'd stand outside and wave whenever someone was leaving their house, and wouldn't stop waving until the car was completely out of sight. Sh!t takes forever when you're standing out in literal farm country & can see for miles!! 😅 They found a way to make the Midwestern goodbye even longer.

I was quite literally not but 500 feet from my house, and the cop just wanted to make sure I was being safe because I was the only person he’d seen on that road for the last few hours and it was late on a week night. Weirdest yet most comforting stop I’ve ever had

Wisconsin is the easiest place to get vehicle tabs. There's kiosk/vending machines in like every major grocery score. Go in, swiper your Driver's license, select the vehicle, pay, and it dispenses you your tabs.
You need to lower the seatbelt on grandma there. If you happen to get into an accident, having the seatbelt sit on your neck like that can be very dangerous, that's why kids have booster seats.
