- The Jetsons were a popular animated cartoon from Hanna-Barbera that started in the early 60's. Having their Capsule Car in the Hot Wheels line is fantastic! What a fun piece! I can't wait to see what other types of entertainment-related models are coming down the pipes! Oh yeah, the new Datsun 620 pick-up truck is pretty sweet too =)

Never a Jetson's fan, but I did love Wacky Racers...especially car OO. I'm pretty sure Hot Wheels could do a fantastic job of these cars and I do wonder why a major live action film has not been done with this cartoon.

Yes, I just checked the wheels and Covelight does have glow-in-the-dark wheels. Somebody did drill apart the Copo Camaro and the Chevy Logo is inside the body.

I do show other brands from time to time. It doesn't seem like there has been any new JL or Ertl in a while. As for HW cases, sealed cases are sold on eBay and cost under $100 each with tax and shipping.

I like the Jetsons a lot , it is a very cool little car. Also Covelight , Prototype H-24 and that Copo Camaro looks very good.
It actually makes perfect sense that the '72 Ford Ranchero was put into the Off Road segment of the HW Mainline Series. This is because the actual vehicle is capable of going off road, plus, they can take quite a beating and keep on going on rough terrain.

Rescue Duty for Track Time! Reminds me of a Hot Wheels firetruck that I used to play with when I was little.
2014's looking to be a great year for Hot Wheels. Glad to see they're on the up after how good 2013 was (or is, lol) Especially with the new variety from the regular American muscle. The real Datsun 620 doesn't have that tab, I believe it's just part of the manufacturing process to make it easier to put together. Also nice to see them add the Japanese Nostalgic Car logo to the vehicle as well.

I would guess that the Zamac releases have lower production quantities only because they are only sold at Walmart and mostly USA locations. I would not consider them rare.
I'm a Subaru geek too! Glad Hot Wheels finally made the 04-05 WRX. I'll definitely be picking up a bunch of those!

Some very splendid automobilia in that case I am particularly fond of the Toyota 2000gt in its new colour scheme.

The orange part in the bed of the Datsun 620 is because the body has to extend out to have the rear post. I suggest this vehicle for track time

Let AJ know that one of the Loop Coupe models in this case does have a tampo error. The green isn't fully printed on the whole model. Nice eye! Is that his suggestion for Track Time or did he want to suggest another model?

Would like to see the Greenwood corvette for track time . It certainly has enough "grab space" for the boosters !
Wow, there's a lot of good cars to choose from this time. But i respect the classics, so my choice is that nice '72 Ranchero.
Also that Super Treasure Hunt Subaru is looking pretty sharp, might pick up a regular if i ever see one.

the datsun truck has the bed like that because the plastic bed is part of the interior, not the truck body, that bit of orange in the bed is part of the body and it holds the rear rivet in place to the base
On the Datsun truck the the orange part in the bed is for holding the truck together for the part of the rivet under the car
Yes, the wheels on Covelight glow in the dark (fishy).
the datsun pickup bed is probably that way because where the orange part is in the bed is more than likely where they put the rear rivet to fasten the rear of the vehicle.

Ive gotta say This was a pretty good year most of these cars were ok but ive gotta say when i looked around for a while around i almost had a heart attack when i found 5 2015 chicane treasure hunts!

Orange section on the Datsun Pickup bed is because they need a metal base for the rear rivet.
Covelight looks Really nice with that purple, I would like to see Covelight in some track time. I hope I get Covelight. :)

Hahaha... Mattel got very smart in hiding the treasure hunts. Notice that the Subaru treasure hunt is very tightly packaged between the plastic and cardboard. There is minimal to no movement. I get the feeling they did it that way on purpose. I'm not so sure they quit with the text behind the car, however, some cars were easy to move in the package, so the text was visible with some shaking. Now you have to know to look for just the symbol. Not for the words behind the car. That's what I think.

I found some of these cars in the woods of Vermont, with no collectors in sight (that means I found a few treasure hunts while I was there)
16:30 I noticed there is a wheel variation out there of the drift rod. Some have 10 spoke fronts, and some have matching PR5s on front and back.

re the delorean, the louvers on the back of the car open, they have always been plastic, they are difficult to open and theres nonting under them, just like on the real car you then have an engine lid to lift up to see the actual motor.
The delorean looks exactaly the same as the 2010 casting, just with a different paintjob and tampos decorations on the side, still very cool and a popular model from that iconic 1980s car

I think the bed of the Datsun is like that so the metal post has some structure...the rest is plastic to save cost I'm sure.
Abit of trivia,the Speed Dozer and the first release version of the Barbaric bare great resemblance to two vehicles from a certain brutal racing game on the PC called Carmageddon.

Say, I wonder if the trunk lid opens on the DeLorean ? imagine that, the engine underneath, never know.

14:34 Hahaha They got that completely wrong. It's actually a 427 Big Block V8, and it does NOT have turbos.
