What are the pros and cons of a sand bottom? Also why do cichlids and koi need to be separated?

Originally she did not want fish in the large pond. Her son slowly added cichlids overtime, but the plan was to have the fish in one area and the swim pond be the other area. She did not want to swim with fish.

Cons are you can see everything that settles all the way down to the bottom. We also used a super fine sand that does not allow beneficial bacteria to colonize compared to gravel.
Pros are it looks awesome. It feels great on your feet. It is a great background to help you see everything in the pond.

Beautiful work. Just Friendly criticism on your editing. The scenes are flashed bye too fast can't really enjoy what we're looking at in that video went by so fast Greg didn't even have time to say I love my job
