Votanikos | This is where the new Panathinaikos stadium will take place
One of the most decisive steps for the creation of the new facilities and stadium of Panathinaikos in Votanikos took place on Wednesday 30/03/22. After a vote that was held, the members of the Association at a rate of 68.5% gave their approval for the Double Regeneration to proceed at the Botanical Garden and Alexandra Avenue.
The construction of the new football stadium, as planned, will begin in October 2023 and will be completed in 36 months, to be ready in July 2026 or at the end of the year, while the facilities of the Amateur will be ready in the summer of 2024.
The new stadium of Panathinaikos will be a 4-star FIFA / UEFA category with a maximum capacity of 39,400 seats. But not less than 38,500 seats, something that will depend on the final studies. It will have 325 underground parking spaces, 1,300 spaces in suites, a museum of Panathinaikos football and 7 commercial stores.
- The facilities of the Amateur
In the same space will be created the new facilities that will host the amateur departments, after moving from the Avenue.
The Amateur facilities will include a 3,100-seat central arena for volleyball, basketball, futsal, wheelchair basketball, handball and instrumental gymnastics, an Olympic-sized outdoor pool with a 500-seat canopy for swimming, diving and diving. for amphitheater, event hall uses. Finally, they will include underground parking of 125 places, as well as the club offices, boutique, cafe and restaurant.
The Greek National Men's and Women's National Team will also be able to compete in these facilities.

Καλησπερα , επειδη βλεπω οτι απαντας στα σχολια , θα θελα τη γνωμη σου.Αφου ο παναθηναικος δινει κατι δικο του σε μια πολυ καλη περιοχη , για να παει σε κατι σαφως πολλαπλασια καλυτερο αλλα δημοτικο , και ουσιαστικα χρησιμοποειται για να αναβαθμιστει μια κακιστη περιοχη , στην οποια ομως δε βλεπω περα απο τη δομη να φευγει ουτε το τζαμι , ουτε τα σκουπιδια , πλας αν καταλαβα καλα ουτε το εμπορικο θα γινει που σιγουρα θα βοηθουσε.Συν οτι ενω θα ναι δημοτικο θα πρεπει να αποπληρωσουμε μεγαλο χρεος του με εισητηρια εμπορικες χρησεις κλπ.Πως κρινεις οτι ο παναθηναικος βγαινει πιο ωφελημενος απο το δημο?Ο οποιος δημος ουσιαστικα κερδιζει και τη λεωφορο και μια νεα ολολκληρη περιοχη

Καλησπέρα , εγω θα σας πω μόνο ότι ήθελα γήπεδο στην Λεωφόρο και εκεί ακόμα επιθυμώ ! Δυστυχώς ο Δήμος με τους παράγοντές-διοίκηση του Παναθηναϊκού μας έχουν άλλη γνώμη και συμφέροντα και τώρα φαίνεται ότι υπέγραψαν συμβάσεις για το νέο γήπεδο στον Βοτανικό. Πλέον νομίζω δεν μπορούμε να κάνουμε κάτι εμείς από το να δούμε τι θα γίνει από Σεπτέμβριο γιατί εκεί θα αρχίσουν κάποια έργα.. Καλή συνέχεια και ευχαριστώ για το σχόλιο σας !!
