It’s true unemployment is low, but infrastructure and crime are the main challenges in Jamaica. Businesses and industrial development is hampered by poor roads, and water supply is not universal. Crime is still a major problem.
Mexico has a crime problem but business still invest, Trinidad has a crime problem too yet it has attracted investors and its annoying when people make it look like jamaica is rare with its problem of crime 😮

What causes major suspicion regarding data produced pertaining to Jamaica is the data on employment. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to determine that the data as presented is woefully incorrect. Hence we have the PM and even other Parliamentarians in his own cabinet differing wildly on employment numbers.
