    • @EyaAyambem
      @EyaAyambem  Před 3 lety +2

      Garri is an African food made from cassava tubers. The purpose of using it here is to prevent the pot from burning. Polebta, Table salt, semolina or baking flour can be placed on the pot to prevent it from burning.

    • @EyaAyambem
      @EyaAyambem  Před 3 lety +1

      I've never tried it that way but I think you can because the skin is roasted. When I remove the skin, it's never thoroughly done. However, when you use other methods like boiling to make soyabeans, ensure the skin is completely removed.

    • @EyaAyambem
      @EyaAyambem  Před 2 lety +1

      We need to place something under to prevent it from burning. Salt, Garri and even sand can be used.

  • @OlabisiDelly
    @OlabisiDelly Před měsícem

    Its not compulsory to add garri when frying soya beans,i fry it straight without garri and i achieved same result,though boiling method is easier.

      So you do recommend grinding with the peel on after roasting

    • @EyaAyambem
      @EyaAyambem  Před 4 lety

      No. I would peel off the skin before grinding but some mums don't. After roasting, I feel the roasted skin is not harmful but will continue to do what I know.
