FUN FACTS: Jimin is shorter then some of the other members at 5'9" but is known to have longer legs then most of them! Most of the best ballet & contemporary dancers are required to have longer legs with shorter torsos!! Jimin trained for 8 yrs in various forms of martial arts! Has Blackbelt in Taekwondo, trained also in kumdo, & Chinese martial arts!! Awarded scholarship to study more extensively in China because he was that good! Taekwondo training requires flexibility & for you to do the splits!! So Jimin had flexibility since quite little boy! Jimin's martial arts training has also given him that outstanding amazing inner core strength that gives him those gravity defying abilities that he applies Eve in some of his dance moves!! Also since 11-12 studied, performed, competed (winning every competition) in hip hop, popping (which he excels in) & street dancing! Attending the renowned Busan Just Dance Academy, where his fee for tuition was waived, since it's quite high, because he was that good!!
He then went on to study & perform contemporary dance! The media called him'The Rising Star of Busan' after seeing certain performance!! He then went on to study at Busan High School of the Arts, where he was already top student with honors as soon as he started attending. Jimin also trained in ballet & traditional Korean dance there as well! He has offers to dance overseas, but he declined because he wanted to also be a singer. To the dismay of one of his dance instructors, who said, 'The world of dance was going to lose a great artist!! There is a reason Jimin was officially assigned both Main Dancer & Lead Vocalist by BigHit entertainment at the very beginning when BTS debuted!! Jimin also excels in sports & is extremely athletic! Joined football team in middle school, excelled in track, excellent basketball player, amazing billiard player. Even was part of after school table tennis team! He also was top student in art class, draws brilliantly!! Also studied & is able to do calligraphy quite well!! Jimin always plays down his abilities & accomplishments!! Even the rest of the members haven't been aware in the past if what he's all capable of! Whenever someone gives him a compliment he always says how the other members are so much better then him, yo take the attention away from him and Spotlight the other members who he loves & respects so dearly and doesn't want to take anything away from the! At times I believe he's a bit too humble & too selfless! Because of this. To this day most army aren't even aware of all Jimin's abilities!!

Mic flip is a skill. Especially when doing it while performing. There's a difference when you're doing it alone and doing it in actual concerts coz it just comes out naturally, means you're skilled of doing it! Only few singers are capable of it! The performance at 12:25 was sbs gayo daejun 2016, there were 3 different stages, there was the first one that was hip hop or something like that which had lisa from blackpink, then there was the 2nd one which had jimin, momo, and mina, and then they all joined at the end and performed in the name of love.
Well not hip hop, they use the song 24k magic, but the video I watched called them the street dance team for the opening, so disregard what I said earlier. Sorry.

Thank you, Aaron for reacting to this video & finding out more about our Jimin! Jimin is really great at a lot of things but it wasn’t well known unless you have payed attentions more to him. Because in Kpop industry most of the idol groups at their beginning of their career, they’ll usually choose one specific member, specially younger one who is cute, good looking, has more talents & charmed & then they would focused on promoting his great looks, talents & abilities in order for their team to gain more fans & popularity. So like any other idol groups, at the beginning, BTS would focus on promoting JK’s looks, great talents & abilities as a ‘Golden MakNae’(youngest one). But if you would pay attention, other members has their own many amazing special talents & abilities that it will surprise you!
And another reason is because of Jimin’s up bringing & our Korean culture. In Korea, the humbleness is very important attribution that I think he has learned to be a humble person & not to be a showing off in his very early age. Since I am Korean, I know these! For most of the western Army fans who are more focus on importance of self promoting might not understand & mistakenly think that Jimin’s humbleness combined with his little shy personality might be from his insecurity but it is definitely not! Would insecure person choose to be in front thousands of people & camera to bold & sure enough to do his solo live dance performance at 2019 MMA award show?(The 2019 MMA solo performances you have seen, Jimin & RM was the only member who has performed live, even though they can choose to show their pre-recorded performance like other members.) Of course Jimin is not all 100% self satisfied person & honestly we all have our own little insecurities & there are no one who is 100 % satisfying about own self.
Anyway because our Jimin is so humble & usually not make a big deal out of his own amazing talents that his fans & sometimes his beloved BTS members will praises his talents & might push him to showing off his amazing talents & abilities!( In the past, we could see that many times BTS members would often asked Jimin to show these talents even he doesn’t want to because of his shyness.) In case if you don’t know, Jimin was in basketball team & football team in his elementary & middle school. He learned KumDo ( Korean modified Japanese sword martial arts) for 7-8 years from age of 6 till 13 & He is only one who has black belt(highest grade) in TaeGwonDo among BTS (Korean national martial arts-When Jimin was young, he has to fight with school bullies to try to stop beating his school mates & got hurt. So his parents decided to teach him ‘TaeGwonDo’ to protect himself & others!). He was always top student at schools & his favorite subjects were math & science & he has always got the top marks. Because of his kind, caring, affectionate, thoughtful & loving personality, he always had great relationships with school mates & teachers & he was well liked & popular. In fact he was elected to be class president for 9 years straight.( In Korea, students are choosing their class president every year by elections, not their teachers.) Jimin is also good at drawing like JK, but Jimin is more good at designing, drawing animations & calligraphy & JK is really good at all the drawing, a realistic or animated subject. I think there are more hidden talents that our Jimin is not sharing but we all are looking forward to find out. I agree, Jimin is of average height. He may be shorter (except for Suga) than the others but he has the perfect dancer’s body with his long legs and neck which provides a nice visual line on stage. (I know a little bit about ballet and what dance companies look for in a dancer) That’s one of the reasons he stands out whether dancing a solo or with the group. It makes me angry when people hate on him or belittle him. The other members are talented in their own right BUT Jimin stands out from the rest and that’s not just me saying that. Professional choreographers, dancers and dance instructors have made the same statements; Jimin is one of a kind. He has natural abilities that cannot be taught because Jimin does them without thinking about it; the ability is innate. I wonder if Jimin has other hidden talents?
Yes and having small bones really plays a part in looking tinier. They have only an inch difference, suga and jimin but jimin looks tinier because he has smaller hands, bones, shoulder etc
