I found out the issue for me was that I had my VPN on for somewhere in Europe. I switched back to North America and it worked. I guess youtube hates Europeans.
Ohh! THAT'S why mine sudden stopped working! I'm on vacation in South America right now and it's been really annoying me how I can't use CZcams and something else at the same time. Now I know why.
I figured it out: for certain videos like music, it doesn’t work unless you have premium. If you want to check if it works or not, use CZcams music and if the video shows up on it then it can’t be used in PiP. If it doesn’t show up on YT music then it’s in the clear!

Ok, so, PiP doesn't work in areas outside of America unless you buy the premium subscription And in America, any video that is considered music will not enable PiP without you buying the premium subscription What I don't get is when you aren't playing a music video, and you've checked both the phones PiP settings and CZcams PiP settings, CZcams still won't enable PiP for me. Sometimes it just drops off the face of the planet and it's very frustrating.
Okay so music a slippery slope with PIP. See I can play different albums and PIP works but some albums it won’t. Also must be full not by each track. I don’t try videos and see as you say wouldn’t work. I ain’t buying premium.

With me my pip has been pausing every time I minimize a screen or go to another screen. It stays there, it just pauses after nearly every button I push. It's never done that to me before, so I don't know what happened

I had PiP on my Samsung working fine, but then I got a CZcams Premium subscription for just a month. Now that its expired and I cancelled it, it doesnt even let me use PiP anymore even though it let me do so beforehand...

Oh my gosh. That solves it. Apparently CZcams doesn't like some Asian countries as well. Had to VPN to Canada to have PIP work.

But my iPad had it working but after I turned stage manager on and off it no longer works
