This is the best game I have ever watched and played. I started to cry at the end but I knew that spirit at the end MUST have hinted a sequel. This game was crafted beautifully. A masterpeice and truly, the best game ever. I want a sequel. I am still crying(literally).

InsomniaWolfy I guess the developer wants simply to finish his movie first. Soemthing if I got this right he is working on for over 10 years now and first inspired the game.

This game had one of the best scripts (and gameplay) of any game and seriously blew most AAA games out of the water.
It's a damn shame we still haven't gotten a sequel to this game, have no idea what is taking the creator Dodrill so long.
@@2Good2BeTrue45 He's just one person who worked on the game. he didn't get any help. years ago he worked on trying to make a movie about An Elysian Tail, but he just couldn't continue it since it was something too big to make. Maybe he's going to make a game sequel, but it's not completely confirmed, it's just speculations for now.
I wouldn't mind if this game had a sequel. It's an amazing game. My only hope is that it's done right, and not a half-asked rushed job. That always leads to disaster.

Considering the fact that Dean Dodrill worked on the game for something like 42 months, I doubt he would ever rush a sequel. Dude knows the benefit of taking your time.
Exactly my point. Miyamoto himself once said "A delayed game, or one with more love is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad." I'm glad someone agrees.
I mean, it was originally made to be an xbox indie game, but won some competition hosted by xbox, and they gave him the funding to make it and xbox arcade game.

I heard there was actually supposed to be at least one more chapter after Gaius but they didn't have time to put it in. It probably would've been to head out to take on the King who was behind Gaius and Cassius.
Where did you hear this? Sounds interesting because before I fought Gauis I actually thought there would be another region.
I don't quite remember where..it's just something I heard....And yeah it'd kinda fit due to there being quite a few questions left unanswered.....Like what exactly was the reason Gaius hated the Moonbloods? Why was he eradicating them? What's this King's reason? Would've been nice to know more. Instead of Gaius coming off as just some big racist with no excuse for his actions, just irrational hate...

please tell me i wasn't the only person to cry at the ending of dust's sacrifice. it was a master-crafted storyline, one of the best ones i have had the privilege of experiencing.

Back in the day when actual compassion and love was put into making video games. The creators didn't have to make fully animated hand-drawn cutscenes for this game, but they did.

Thanks for putting this up. The PC version has been cutting off the top half of the animated cutscenes recently. However you are missing one between the mansion and the moonblood campaign.

I know how you feel. After a year since I've finished the game, I've never forgotten that ending. It still clings to me even on this day. ~_~ We need a 2nd Series!
I admire Dust. (Or Jin) I absolutely LOVE him! But General Gius is a total monster. He made all moonbloods turned them against the warmbloods.
Man, that ending scene really is perfect.
I hate but love how this was foreshadowed with the quest to try and save the kid's dad underground.

Why is it that I LOVE to see the ending scene so much; is it because it's so amazing...? :'(
Perfect example of using Key Phrases within a story. I didn't care much about the old guy in Mudpot (or what it's called) but when I reached the last Cutscene, I saw why this scene was needed. As soon as she said "we did everything right" I immediately felt the slight urge to cry a little. (And I may understate a few things, but would never admit it.)

Dude, this game is the furriest jazz I've ever actually seen, purchased, and played for hours. I love this game and all the care that was put into it by just one guy. This is a work of art before it is a game, if you ask me.
It's been a while since I cried during a story
Yeah nobody was really watching it... so I switched back to HD and stopped recording. It was quite annoying to play in composite because the game is so gorgeous :)
