I didn't have the highest of hopes for the NERF Elite 2.0 Motoblitz, as it carries that dreadful Elite 2.0 logo on it... but I'm glad I'm wrong. Not only is the design completely up to the standards of the original NERF ELITE line, but it features a unique design that is actually useful at a very compelling price point! AND IT'S COMPLETELY MODDABLE!? They might not all be winners, but the Motoblitz certainly does live up to the fantasy.

it's a raven with a masterkey that reminds me of the mediator barrel but it could have a titan tank able to shove In it to make it a little better.
Ravens are selling for over 100$ now i belived so this is just the best bullpup you can get

Not long. The Pulse Rifle has a Mega masterkey built in, Tristrike and Mediator both had masterkey attachments of different types... Possibly more that I'm forgetting.

One point to make this better: instead of having that “sight” as a part of the shell, make it an attachment. Because that rail seems really high up
I can see this blaster becoming an absolute monster once it’s fully modded internally. Not to mention you can also put something like a proud papa on each side, and a decent sight on top.

Man, Hasbro has really managed to successfully lower our expectations of them so much that they can get this much excitement over something like this lol. If Dart Zone made this it'd be $30~$35 max, have 30 fps higher average from the main motor with decent rev speeds, and another like 20 fps increase at least from the shotgun segment.

@@coastaku1954 They can't. Dart Zone is now the new mold. I own an Aeon Pro, and let me tell you, this thing hits TOO Hard. I am not comfortable using this in wars, and it's already a primary in it's own right. Hasbro managed to remain relevant because of us who want something that doesn't hurt
Also I always prefer Nerf because of the sheer satisfaction of building something with things you already own. DZ and 3D Prints are fine, but they seem to be too high up for me and a few more people
@@boid9761 I have some DZ blasters myself, including 2 pro blasters, and I do agree they hit very hard, I don’t do wars nor do I mod. I’m just someone who doesn’t like people shutting on a brand just because another brand did it better. Like people shit on Nintendo for its emulators because the community did so much better, yet we still need to give Nintendo props for giving the people a legitimate, modern way to play older games without having to rip cartridges or go on seedy ROM sites

This is Hasbro, who makes Princess Celestia toys in pink. If you can't even get the color of your own characters right, then what's the point?
Things I already see myself doing with this:
- Make the sight into a flashlight, use the top trail to mount a proper sight.
- Paint it silver and orange for that maximum sci-fi feel.
Elite 2.0 went from modder's nightmare to modder's dream... I like it.
Recent Ultra has been very promising too. Hasbro usually manages to improve new blaster lines, but it always takes so long...
I said it on your teaser post, and I'll say it again here: this is going to be the first NERF blaster I actually buy since the release of the Revoltinator. Bullpup, built-in masterkey, mod potential, and decent aesthetics.
That masterkey is like a grenade launcher
I was just playing with some air-tech blasters yesterday and remembering how giggle-worthy they are. Now we get air tanks PLUS a Rayven or less than some of these of these other white elephants. GG Hasbro ^_^ Awesome review, Walcom and thanks for including internals!

This looks damn cool, and soehow the color scheme reminds me of old school 90s and 2000s nerf blasters. I might add this into my collection, it will look damn cool alongside my Halo MA40. P.D. That's a damn cool medieval long hair, you just need a cool helmet.

Turbine was pretty good. Trio I didn’t really like that much. and I prefer the Strongarm over the Commander, but that’s just my opinion.

That 6 shotgun burst is hella good, especially when modded. I have a feeling a lot of these blasters are gonna get cut up for that master key.
It is basically two shellstrikes made into underbarrel attachment but more compact.
Seams like an amazing HvZ blaster, especially if you mod the shotgun to shoot mega
I feel like I may have to buy one and mod it to an absurd level in the future. I don’t think I even want a Sledgefire anymore looking at the shotgun performance of this. And then adding in the flywheel aspect and the only reason I would use a stryfe now would be because of more mods around right now and the smaller size as my sidearm
So if this thing does well I am hoping there will be a follow up to this that is semi auto, 3x2 rival shotgun, double barrel mega and a mega XL integration - yes all of that in one blaster. Unlikely? Probably! Who wouldn't want a Nerf Zorg ZF-1? This is Hasbro doing weird the right way and its about damn time.

Elite 2.0 finally made a good blaster... and it's a Rayven. With a shotgun tank. Seems to me that's a pretty good off-the-shelf HvZ blaster.
So this the trailblazer, echo, commander and arguably the eaglepoint are 4 blasters from 2.0 that are good stock and actually moddable. I may have a bias with the eaglepoint but its a compact 8 round revolving sniper with slam fire and one of the coolest scopes ever
I was TOOOOTALLY wrong about the Motoblitz. I thought it would be an overly priced blaster that had potential, but have zero way to mod it. I really like the bullpup look
I mean apart from the scope on it. This blaster is beautiful! I mean the only other nerf bullpups was the Rayven and the Halo rifle. The fact that you can actually open it up and mod it is a step in the right direction and I hope Hasbro keeps it up!

you could pump the shotgun more than 8 times because of the overpressure release valve. I would recommend pumping it until you hear the hissing of the overpressure release valve.
Wow. This thing absolutely has my attention. Looks like it'd be loads of fun in a stock war, especially doing close quarters stuff. Thanks Walcom, I'd likely have ignored it if not for this video.

Big thanks to you especially for this video and its thorough content, but also to DrFlux and Luchathor 13 for their part in exploring some of the mod potential of this blaster. Thanks for the review, I got mine yesterday. I’m going to do the hot glue for the vents in the masterkey. I was considering putting a red light or a laser into the scope and putting another scope on top.
Wow nerf, you made a bullpup blaster that doesn't run on c-type batteries (every other medium sized bullpup has it) and it is worth the 42 dollars! We are coming back to the age where nerf is making better blasters (more nerf rival phantom corp when?)
Can't wait to get my hands on one of these! I haven't done modifications to fly wheelers, but the shotgun modification appears to be easy.

it feels like this was supposed to come out back when nerf cared and somehow was forgotten until now
so true. One time my little brother shoved a pen case in my Elite 2.0 ranger and cuz its glued i tried getting the front barrel pieces but they were GLUED together so now i have 4 uneven shots instead of 5 even shots
I think the part that gets me from the aesthetic standpoint, is that the pump area of the blaster carries the color scheme of the Mega XL line, which for a while after release made me think it fired Mega XL darts, which would be cool.
I think Hasbro hired a new designer and he knows exactly what we want

It'd be neat if they made the master key detachable, and came out with a line of blasters that could be attached instead. Mega, Mega XL, Ultra, whatever. Kind of like Modulus?
If it was detachable itd fall off constantly due to the nerf rail system being terrible and be way more bulky

I found where you can get those Fast Shot guns! They are at discount stores like Roses, this is the South Eastern discount store, idk what store sells cheap items and out of date Nerf Guns where you live. Roses still has the Raptorstrike at most locations for $30 to $60, and even a mega revolver cyclone shot I think.
I bought this recently because I'd heard it was a decent Nerf gun, and I liked the bullpup design and air tank shotgun combo. Decided to check out what you had to say. When you mentioned that you found this gun very well priced at $40 USD, I was suprised. That's because I got mine for $20 CAD at Walmart, and it didn't even say it was on sale!

Just got one, loving it, gonna do the shotgun mod from this video in the morning and then eventually turn this into my Ground Control-style infantry gunshield thingy.
I picked one up today on sale for 25 bucks, I love it. The shotgun part is way more fun than I thought.

Actually I feel like the stock blitz part might actually be better used like a grenade launcher, taking advantage of the low fps so you can sort of arch some darts in an area and tag the person hiding behind the couch or something

It’s a flywheeler as well that’s also prone for some gargantuan mod potential. My only concern is the standard frame shape is a little tight for those flywheels. It could be difficult to put a new cage in it, At least without opening up the shell significantly.
I mean if you are doing anybworthy modding to flywheelers it's safe to say making clearance would be one of the more trivial tasks of the job! Its par the course for most mods anyways no biggie

I just got this for 20 bucks at my local Walmart today would have picked up 2 but bought the dart zone dictator and vulcanator. Along with the x-shot long shot
This is the only blaster where elite darts are better than waffle head darts because of the shotgun, since they are inaccurate and they just fly in a bunch of random directions like a shotgun.
I bought it today. The gun is AMAZING! The front gun is satisfying to shoot and the bullpup is AWESOME! Though the stock is too small for 35 round mags and they will rest on your stomache, 20 round mags and I assume 30 round mags will work well.
I got this nerf ar for $30 in august and its probably one of the best nerf ars out there and its my favorite
The shotgun could give you a squad wipe depending on the spread which isn't too bloomy and could be a great stealth and fast last stand weapon if you rev up because of the sound and time it takes
Many people dont like the plastic quality but honestly here it makes the gun light
The scope may not have been as well praised but if you can use it properly you could use to hit accustrike accushots on targets at the range

theres a kohls exclusive elite 2.0 pack called the "Double Defense" pack. it has a repainted spectre (if you like the spectre, you should get it) and an updated warden, and yes, they updated the warden because of all the complaints). so yea, i wanted to see ur opinion on it.
I'm going to have to rewatch the Warden video again. Just to make sure I woke up in the same universe I was in yesterday.
