Fun fact: Tom got a call from his sister Jenna telling him what happened to Trump, he didn’t see it happen. Nova was with him and immediately started tearing up and said “how could someone do that?” Tom immediately got up and went to start writing the song, produced the beat, and was ready to shoot the video by midnight. Nova edited it and had the video finished by 2:30 in the morning!! So, they had this done in about eight hours time!!

He gives those of us who are also angry an outlet. Better to be screaming his lyrics than burning down cities. He and Nova are so gifted, they can take this from start to release by themselves in hours. Tom said they were both so emotional, he just had to let it out and he does that through music. It's mega corny ESPECIALLY considering that the entire premise behind the song is that his political opposition "missed" when no investigation had even been started basically. Then a day later it's found that the shooter at the rally was actually a conservative 20-year-old white kid. Not that it makes it right or wrong regardless, it's a horrific event and should never have happened, but as far as this track goes, it's a massive flub.
