*There is also a motion sensor 6500k LED light that is attached to the lid, to ensure your mushrooms get the light that they need. It is recommended to emulate the natural light cycle of the sun (e.g., 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark)

It seems to be going well so far! My grain spawn colonized well and I just mixed the contents of the bag fully. I’m just wondering about the condensation build up in the bag? I’ve read some things that say this can be from temperature shift and some say it could be contam. The bag seems to have condensation on all sides. No yellowing or anything though as far as I can see. Thanks!

      Hello,
You are right that temperature shifts do cause the condensation. Contamination would likely smell spoiled or fermented and make the grains look overly wet. Be sure to smell through the filter patch to test it.

@@transitioncreations6677 in this exact tub I would imagine the perlite addition would help in replace misting regularly? how much perlite and water is needed? Also how often should it be changed.

So if I buy this, all I will need are the spores correct? And what is the purpose of the motion sensor light?
