Kuchina really improved and of course is now known as Lasitskene. She's jumped 2.06 and has gone over 2 meters many times in competitions.

Maria Lasitskene ( Kuchina ) is now #1 in the world. Gorgeous too. Along with #2 Juliya Levchenko also totally gorgeous.

My absolute favorites from the entire history of this sport are Anna Chicherova and Blanka Vlasic. Both of them are spectacular athletic technicians, but also quite beautiful. When Anna & Blanka were competing against each other, that was a match to watch. Where are they now? Anna has become a mom, and Blanka is working with Catholic church activities in Split. At least that's what I read the last time such material was published, but in any case, those two were the absolute best, a joy to watch.

I really think chicherova deserve the gold, but after all she is still my favourite.

The female high jumpers here seem a bit better than those today in the middle of 2018. Kuchina (now Lasitskene) was not the best back then but she's by far the best today. Most of the girls today have trouble clearing 1.94.
