hmmm. I wonder how this wrapping idea got started. Togas are draped over a tunic. Togas are well demonstrated in movies like Spartacus and Gladiator and Julius Caesar, etc. Pay attention! Tunics had belts. Togas had brooches or pins at times, but not always. Roman ladies never wore togas. Their fashions were much more interesting.
