The fact that they had her as a main character for five seasons and the only development she got was a stutter and crushing on an openly gay guy. Shame on you, writers, this character could have been spectacular!

Right? Ffs. Especially cuz Jenna is spectacular. I got to meet her when I was in college, and she's a very bubbly, passionate, talented, and funny woman. They really could have used her, let her spread her wings, but no. Tina always seemed to be an afterthought.

Most of characters(exceptions Finn, Rachel, Kurt, Blaine and Brittana as a couple) got poor or very little character development. And in some cases the characters developed and slid backwards over the seasons(Sam, Puck, Quinn)
And in 5A she was so sad because she didn't want to lose her friends but in 5B she only appears in one episode :(

Jenna Ushkowitz is a phenomenal singer and dancer. She has an exhaustive theatre experience which enabled her to bag a role in Glee. After watching all the seasons, what I got is Rachel was the main character, everything else was there to usher her development and stardom.
Jenna recently won the Tony award, a much deserving win and she deserves the whole world with that talent.

that was the most Finn ever even talked to Tina in the ENTIRE series, and let's not forget Tina was on Glee since the first episode. that just shows how underdeveloped the character is, the writers totally disrespected Tina the character, and Jenna Ushkowitz the actress.

Tina is one of those characters that seemed like they'd have good development, then the writer forgets about them focuses on other characters and then the writer is like OH WAIT! I totally forgot about this character let me put an unnecessary arc in the story about them. I'm not a fan of this sort of thing, but this dance number and song was great.

And I can't believe on the show itself they actually had the announcer that does the recap at the beginning of an episode, point that out (not to mention, used the character to emphasis it like some punchline/on going joke)...that they do ignore her like it was some plan all along. **oy**
The announcer is actually Ian Brennan, one of Glee's co-creators. Fun fact, he originally wrote and conceived Glee as a movie, but Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk thought it would work better as a TV show.

Tina was such an undeveloped character. She really had no storyline, why they decided to fake her stutter was very stupid. Could have possibly given her a storyline
did u watch the very very last episode..the finale, it sorta shows why and her back round
+Amunet Mistique IA w/ you until a certain point, but this iMO wasn't development. I can understand the whole people relating stuff as to why they touched upon it, but I only wished they touched upon it and not IMO turn it into what began defining her. You'll see what I mean once you continue w/ it. It's sad that this moment should have been a true shining moment, but wasn't due to how it was basically for Blaine/getting his attention etc. and not really for herself, fighting to be more in the spot light...being a true star. That's what should have been dominant when it came to her character development. Not this Blaine mess. See Tina (I feel) has always been a character in the background who always supported others...even went beyond to do it, even sacrificed herself/her dreams for others...even letting opportunities pass by thinking it was best for her club and yet IMO I feel she never got that true moment and that's a real shame.
Yeah Glee got super annoying the development of most of the characters weren't really good. Most of the series revolved around Rachel or Finn.

its just sad.. even after Cory/Finn has passed away, Tina and Finn still don't have that "bonding moment" in Glee at all, everyone in Glee Club, the original 5 Glee members, 4 of them had bonding moments with Finn, but not Tina.. it is just pure sadness..

ALDC BOSS LADIES yes they did. Remember back in season 1? Artie made Finn realise that he wants to do Glee. He helps him by making the other football players back off. They had a few other moments as well but I think that that was their bonding moment.

She did a great job with this song in my opinion. I think it's really weird how obsessed she was with getting Blaine even though she knew he was gay. (if a straight boy tried to do that to me i'd be PISSED so you know, he's being pretty nice about it). Also just saying, she's GORGEOUS, especially in this performance

Such an underdeveloped and underrated character. Her singing was amazing and her dancing was on point yet the writers decided that she didn't need a plot. What? She had a stutter, crushed on Blaine, and ran back to Mike by proposing to him after not dating for a few years. She deserved way to more than what she got.

how does this club get nationals only twice during show time? they have shown countless of times that they can perform a great number at the drop of a hat with no practice. and they seems to always have new props and costumes no matter who many times money has been 'cut'. like its a great show.

The whole Tina loves Blaine plot was not great, but even so, she absolutely destroyed this song. Iconic and so so good.

I avoided watching this for a while as I am not a fan of Hung Up but Jenna did a very nice job of singing it. And one can see glimpses of her dancing as well. It would've been nice if she had been able to showcase those abilities more often because I always thought she was one of the better dancers in the cast.

Hung Up was one of the very few cases where they gave Jenna a song that fitted her voice. Wish it was more vocally challenging though.
@@TwBelgi78 Most Madonna songs are probably not that vocally challenging! But I agree that it fit Jenna's voice well. But my favourite song that Jenna sang on this show is probably still Dog Days Are Over. I remember being transfixed by her singing in that song.
