Thank you! Just what I needed to know this morning before commencing my painting endeavours. Hopefully it will turn out a lot better than last time, now that I actually know how to do it properly!
Me too! I have a nasty habit of bumping the ceiling...
Thank you for sharing this video

You're awesome dude

Nice video mate thank you
Splatoon fans: What thrilling gameplay!
i would ask what kind of paint you are using and if this roller is 12 inches?
After watching this video it really made me overcome with emulsion
Bought a big.tin of paint at the 2:59 2:59 2:59 2:59 checkout was asked would you like it in a bag I said no thanks I would rather leave it in the tin as the bags have small holes at the bottom and there would be a lot of mess in my car and no paint left by the time I got home
😂😂😂
Hi do you use floetrol? I’m getting ugly lap marks even with a wet edge and back rolling
This is a sick video for begginers like me, thumbs up!
Where can i get handle you attached with roller ?
What is the best roller for an ultra smooth finish please?
Very brave wearing white

The rollaaa
Have a good day God’s love you
Can I reuse my roller the next day for a second coat

Regards
Macho Man 😂
With nice white clothes on, Respect ! 😆
How do you roll a wall with a windows and doors on the same wall plane?
There is mini rollers you can get for small areas. Definitely helps for the areas you can't use a full roller.
The roll up was supposed to bounce off the wall and go into the vase, but this time it didn't even hit the top just fell behind the vase, ok so what's on the menu now? 😂
What kind is this roller?
Pice of garbage get a Purdy colossal or Corona
Dang. I've been using way too much paint.
How many coats?
Depends the wall, type of paint, and color you’re painting over
hi, i get uneven patches up and down the wall? any tips?
Always keep the roller full of paint and start in the middle and go up and down and always roll half way of what you rolled so you don’t get lines
I’m a painter just tryna help but it’s hard to type out what I mean lol
@@YvngDecayOfficialwhat does it mean to “roll half way of what you rolled?”
@@patricknelsonI think he means only roll half of the paint on the roller. Don’t use it all up basically. I hope I didn’t get that wrong I’m just guessing, lol.
Don't paint a wall with dark paint as you have to paint 4 times over
I'll paint my wall any color I choose. Myb.
Or you can watch this video and do it properly with two coats
Wearing a Mask is a good idea 💡
Jisse how long it took him to roll that little bit. Amaging to have hom paint your apartement and pay him. He would ruin you
He did it slowly to demonstrate technique
And that wall is going to have all kinds of flashing, you are over-rolling it, pulling paint off is bad.
how do u properly do it?
@@illusionfpv1326 yea fr you want a proper video on how to do it? Then go do it yourself. Fr all you do is yap
He was demonstrating technique. The wall looked amazing at the end
I'm struggling with those instructions. Too many movements and change of camera and zooming. One thing that really bothers me that I see a lot of different frames where you flip the direction of the rollers arm (At 2:10 it is at the left side, while at 2:12 is on the right side). I came here mostly for proper technique and understand how to properly roll the paint without leaving edges, but no luck.
Yeah.....speckle-free baseboards are so outdated.
Step one. Don’t buy the 2 dollar handy man kit. Step 2 don’t listen to anyone who does.
My first thought
I was thinking the same but near the end the direct lighting showed he blended the lap lines into what looked like one consistent section. I wasn't a huge fan of the dry brushing but the 3/4 rule made sense. If he were to have cut, back brushed and back rolled and didn't dry brush I feel it would have been even more spectacular.
@@raven5189 When you get done painting for 30 years on a level where you are booked out on work for 6-9 months and do no advertising of any kind …… but I can tell you just watch DIY videos and do shit work someone like me will fix someday.
jesus christ. i saw this b4 the video started and said to myself. surely this man didn’t do this. only to be surprised.
Bahaahahahaha😂
I saw a hundred things he did wrong in this video.....and I'm a painter so i know...
Lol your joking right? You only need to know like 10 things tops to paint so how could there be hundreds of mistakes made?
U don't know sheeit
Be quiet
Wow! What piss poor technique. This is definitely NOT how to do a good job of applying paint to a wall.
Yeah, I was looking at 2:43 into the video and you're definitely going to see a lot of roller lines.
@@jimczekaj6897too much clag on your roller, sounds like....
No one uses those wack trays
