She's an old style beach player. Modern setting in beach is very similar to indoor. She'd be called for lifting in beach as well - if judged properly

As you can see , in the correct form he goes down while with ball so that he can decrease the impact of high speed ball on his fingers. Next he use his legs as well as hands to push ball so that ball can be set higher and better.
So thats a correct form
