You know what I love about Kirstie, EVERYTHING. I would love a person like that to help me! It is a rareity to come across honesty, when house buying! Cheers Kirstie. ❤❤👍👍
In Australia they’re called Buyers Agents. We’ve used them for 2 purchases. A good one is worth their weight in gold.
Best advice from me.....decorate the bedroom immediately, then have the kitchen and bathrooms done. At least if the bedroom is nice you can be comfy, watch TV and wake up in a nice room 🥰🥰
I thought Lisa was never going to soften ..it was lovely to see her relaxed at the end once a decision was made ,I bet thats the Lisa Tom fell in Love with ..I wish them happiness they made a great choice .James and Anisha were more creative types so really related to them ..all good ..well done Kirsty and Phil !
❤ your comment, positive and constructive
House searches can be stressful.
Alisha and James are intelligent, honest and learned quickly with Phil's help. They made the right choice and will be well placed to move to their next property at the right time.
It was nice to see Lisa happy and smiling at the end. Finally, her forever home!
Loved James - happy to say he was flummoxed - nice partner too. Wish we could have seen the flat finished
It was lovely to see two different situations where people needed a slight push by seeing homes that almost fit their briefs but required them to think hard and long about their priorities and the possibilities.
Hurray for Kirstie's and Phil's wisdom. They did not tightly confine themselves to the request lists and had different takes on how the clients could be satisfied by exploring around the edges of their briefs.
Love how the presenters challenged them to help them move forward. Great choices all round!
That barn conversion... Not to sound too german, but how do you clean those high up rafters? And I would not want to pay the bill for heating.
Looks great but very impractical.
Ha! That was what I was thinking, but I'm Swedish :)
a very good episod! Loved the couples despite their fussiness and Kirtie... waouh...she's got insight. Phil, i just like him, so professional. Thanks for posting, cheers!
Grew up in Leytonstone! Just saw one of those completed houses on the market for £875,000.
That's staggering, the current cost. But much the same increase has happened in a number of American cities too.
I never understand someone house hunting in south east England is pissed off with plane noise. 😌
I'm surprised that any of these couples made a decision. James looked angry and stressed all the time. Lisa looked like the weight of the world was on her shoulders. I was surprised of the ages of Tom and Lisa sons. Tom and Lisa looks great to have a teenager and preteen.
Yes, they both looked so young!
Both couples made the right decision, in my opinion. Tom and Lisa had three lovey properties to choose from.
So happy for both couples!
"This is where we're going to live for the next 40 years." If the fates allow.
More of these please 😊😊
Wow miss Lisa looks so young and beautiful to have boys that old
Strange how people are affected by noise. I love it, I know I’m alive. I have planes flying over and the train line is a few hundred metres away, the other side of the fence. When I’m dead I will have as much peace and quiet as I could want.
I've loathed noise for the last 30 years. If I were at a property and a plane flew overhead, I wouldn't even bother going inside.
@@fluffycat2993 i sympathise, I have family who don’t Ike noise. I got used to planes flying overhead, my eldest son is a pilot and started flying when he was fifteen. We spent many hours at the airport watching him do circuits and touch and go. It was A very busy airport so
Our Saturday mornings were spent surrounded by planes. He has now been flying for 40 years and teaches airline pilots to fly.
Kristy and Phil are so lovely.
Love watching this duo and I appreciate all of the information. May I also say, Kirstie is a beautiful Woman!
Gosh! Back to 2013, but a really engaging episode - shan't spoil it as it is a nailbiter! Thanks for sharing.
Of all the man episodes I've watched, this one was the most fun to see.
Man episodes?
You can't go cheap when selecting finishes for a nice semi-custom new build, especially for resale value. But you can go overboard, too.
Great episode! Thanks!
What a great looking family!
I used to live in much hadham near B.S and loved laying in the grass watching the planes amd imagine where they were going
people are so picky....they keep me entertained ..poor granny she miss the beautiful annexe..
Airplane noise is a big problem though.
12:30 maybe if you get them a beautiful White slimline phone to go with the slimline house! Mrs. Bucket
Wow, those faux wall torches in the barn conversion are quite the statement. Kind of a dark and not a homey feel as well.
If Tom and Lisa had chosen the lake property, painted the siding a weathered grey or white, and replaced the windows and roof, they would have had a totally new house.
Have yet to watch the conclusion but would go for the second option in both cases personally ❤
I wish there were more normal couples, not always the“ young professionals who want a vibrant life near cafés , bars and restaurants”
very few victorian proeprties actually fall down... the cracks were about teh land they built on and foudnations and is quite normal,my very first home was such and I had a structural engineer monitor it for six months and we chain stitched the brickwork..no problem for years after and its still standing today 40 years on! It was almost derelict and I did all the decorating and installation of kitchen and bathroom... and had builders do the roof electric and plumbing... I had never done anything like it and it was my first home.... if I can do it am not sure why people are scared!
If the property stood intact for last 200 years... its gonna stay intact for next 100... cheers...
Having a bad bad so watching all the bloggs that make me happy I must of mist this one but thank you phil I needed to hear this today heartfelt words God bless Xx
Lisa come down from the cloud!!oh better that i dont write more she makes me nervous!!-she says peacefufu igh…..
Awesome ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💓❤️🥰🤗
There must be Limits...this was it! :)
FUSSY!!!!
As a realtor, If people looking at 50 houses and they haven't found anything yet that takes up a lot of time.
I could not understand the comment "it seems industrial!" 😮
I'm sure there was a comment on here about some of James's facial expressions making him look like Ryan Gosling. It must have been on a different download of this particular episode. Anyway, I agree but think his troubled expression is a cross between Ryan Gosling's and Clint Eastwood's in his younger days.
These people aren't thinking they're already over their budget and they have a whole garage to remodel.
They don’t have to do it right away though.
They have a further £120k, as they said £1.1k for their perfect house, indeed probably a bit more as they saved tax by getting the house at under a million. More than enough for a garage remodel
I think you are kidding yourself if you think just moving to the country will help you chill out. Not if you work at home, that stress will follow you no matter where you live. Plus, you are adding an extra hour on the road every day to and from school.
For one million pounds, you’re allowed to be fussy!
Walk Into my house on foors with stilettos on and the noise would be the least of your worries.
What are you going to do? Beat her with a baseball bat? lol
Yes, the possible damage to flooring that could ensue by wearing such heels. Having lived over thirty years in Japan where people are constantly aware of how their every action could affect others, this kind of behaviour now really stands out for me. Plus wouldn't you rather be comfortable than wanting to look good? I mean, Lisa was so beautiful and statuesque anyway, I'm sure she would still have looked stunning in flatties!!
I wonder what size house Lisa grew up in
Both couples looked exhausted.
13:30 MY DREAM HOME
Electric cars are the future. Clean energy is important for the planet. The addition looks great.
If you think mining for the lithium is good for the environment, you need to do some research!
Why do people get excited about an ensuite bathroom, why would you want to go to the toilet in the bedroom
Because they’re most likely not living in the house by themselves, hon. The other bathrooms are being used by the other people in the other bedrooms.
Soon people will start putting the kitchen in the bedroom @@thehungrygoldfish
@@fijijournal.....like the Fellini film where people all sit on toilets around the table, and go to a tiny closet to eat in private 😅😅😅
Meh, some types always have a chip.
James looks unhappy a lot of the time. Lisa and Tom have a good budget in comparison. Good episode.
What year was this episode made in? I did not think Kirsty and Phil made this show any more?
2013, but the show is still going on.
2013. Yep, they still make the show. It’s on Channel 4 in the UK.
The male realtor looks a little bit like Prince William.
You can move into a home that you don't exactly feel comfortable in and make it your own. This woman needs a little bit of open-mindedness.
Their boys won't be in school forever.
The reincarnation of Graham Chapman.
Lisa 🙄
There's always the odd episode that I really don't care if a couple gets their preferred home or not and this is one of them bc Lisa is so unlikable.
16 minutes in and I really dislike Lisa 😂
That long?
To be honest from outside all those terraces are the same ... you see one see them all...
Its small, its, small,its small……🥴🙄🥺
In that barn the big kitchen….its not big enough! Really! Who are those people
And the anex is…to small🤯 crazy, really crazy
Tom, leave Lisa and find a normal wife!
A beautiful house with an annex five bedrooms and she's complaining cuz there's no office space or the airplanes overhead. She's so negative but she'll never find a house
She did!
Who wears stilettos house hunting??
I've lived in East London, and it's horrible. Why anyone would choose to live there is beyond me.
I couldn't agree more !
Because not everyone is a clone of you? lol Different people have different preferences.
Work / family / different preferences to you …
@@7ofthem you go live in East London and see what's its like. If you currently live there and feel it's good, then we are very different people. There are only a handful of nice areas in East London, the rest garbage.
@@thehungrygoldfish be quiet. I know your type.
Omg the barn/house was incredible. What is wrong with that lady
Compared with the American real estate shows, this one doesn't involve staged houses. So they're not as exciting to look at.
Fantastic video😊 regardless of the economic slump, I'm so happy I have been earning $ 40,000 returns from my portfolio income every 13days.
I also needed he's info too I’ll write him thanks.
I think Lisa used to live in a marble castle in Ethiopia or Euritreia or whatever place her family came from, because nothing satisfies her.
That's borderline offensive. Perhaps she was born and raised in the UK?
Hmmm. But, I get the feeling she is under pressure in some way from her Mum, i.e., she's promised her Mum some kind of luxury accommodation and has to deliver to maintain status in her Mum's eyes.
@itoo3654 not borderline it's extremely racist
I think it's odd that Lisa can afford such an expensive house, but doesn't have her teeth fixed.
Not everyone wants perfect cookiecutter teeth. Our imperfections make us who we are and give us individuality.
