International Battle of the Year 1995 - Battle for 3rd - 4th Place Out Of Control vs. Flying Steps - Legendary Battle SLS Camera Wiew by Sörös Tomi - Enjoy...
This battle had it all, so many memorable moments, I know they always say it was better years ago yadayada but you don't get this shit in battles now, there's no little conversations going on now just sanitised round for rounds dealing with content and cleanliness, no spontaneity, no street edge, no danger
german heads kept bboyn alive ,when the rest of the world stopped , so respect to germanys bboys ,no bboy anything would be happnin now if these guys wernt
Well, I'm viewing this from a different time context, so I don't know how we viewed the dance in 1995, and nobody's the rulemaker in hip-hop, so I'm not upset to have people disagree. I really liked Steps. Peace.
Who was the guy in the Burgundy long sleave? he always was dope! Battle of the year 95 has always been a big inspiration to me...gnna gp practice in the garage in a bit before work!
It's Speedy from Battle Squad (Storms brother), Soul Control were a Locking Popping crew really so he came in and virtually - with respect to WileyCat (the other breaker on the left) - took on Flying Steps (a mostly Bboy crew) almost single handed, he was dope tho, he got real nice on elbowspins in later years too
@@oldskoolfool141very memorable battle for sure. So many great moments. But I always wondered how out of control qualified for the battle rounds despite being most a popping and locking crew. Don’t get me wrong this battle was amazing, but something I always wondered objectively how they made it over some other crews.
AMIGOS, VARTAN LEGENDARY DANCERS💯💯💯
I remember the days every crew had a pop/locker on standby
Real talk!
It's hard to believe this was almost 25 years ago.
9:00 my fav, when they go in and out of slow-mo sync
I can't believe how long ago that was when I was there good memories
love that "flying steps" diss and answer by amigo "out of control" diss

Love how the DJ would just keep the record going and let those motherfuckers sort everything else out among themselves. How is this not PURE?

Yes, Berlin put it back on the map before the whole b-boy resurgence.
Naww usa still represents
15:12 that routine killed it

Speedy vs Flying Steps
Ha, wasn't Speedy Storm's brother? Can't recall where I heard it but I know they at least battled together.
@@kawika2974 I think Speedy was Swift's brother. Could be wrong though.
Speedy is storms brother

Apparently turtlenecks and white pants were all the rage back in '95 LOL.
Vartan sieht wie der junge ibrahimovic aus😂
Speedy makes it look so effortless
We've come a long way baby. That said, Flying steps took almost every round.
