I've been doing those for a while. So if I may come with a little suggestion.
If you don't cut and melt the ends of the paracord, until you've done the stitching with the microcord. when you can go through the last loops. 😊
Fantastic detail with the micro cord. You can also use a heavy duty hand sewing needle. You wont have to fuse heavy cord to it and its thinner to to work through the cobra
Love it, I did my first bracelet just now and added this nice braiding on top. I am very happy with the result. Thanks for sharing.
Having that smaller cord in the weave makes it really stand out. Well done as always.
Thank you for explaining the process in an easy to understand way that I had no trouble following. No special tools needed and the finished product looked way cool. Looking forward to more of your video's. Thanks for sharing!
Bvkzi mfre 😀😀😀😀😀
I drove nearly 200 miles to visit the Bored Paracord store in Lilburn, Ga. last Saturday. THEY HAVE EVERYTHING!
I saw the actual bracelet made in this video and with the knotting tool and cord I bought there, I made one for myself.
I got plenty of supplies, I see colors I don't have every day, so I'll be hitting Amazon pretty soon to get more.
Holy cow, man! Shawn's store is about 20 miles from me and I still order online from him because that's too far for me.
Go to AliExpress app and buy all the supplies for ⅓ of what you paid there
@@g.martin6466 Read the reviews guy! In most cases it will take several months to get your order! And if it's wrong, good luck with that!!
Really nice design. I like how the orange cord makes the design stand out.
another option which I use is a yarn needle my wife have me one of hers and it works perfect for this as well
I really like the designs you do for these videos because they're not just functional but they also look really good.
Thank you Shawn! Good to see you back (CZcams)! :-)
Great tutorial. I suppose most tutorials are good but your really good at pointing out the small, yet important, stuff that can be used on every bracelet, not just this one. An example is folding it to get the hitch through. I could have possibly made 50 more bracelets before realizing that, lol. This is one is so simple yet so amazing looking!
Hiya, thought i would share with you, I have had for sometime a woodburning/hobby kit. A little bit like a soldering iron, but with a whole range of different screw-fit tips. I have found that the heat is not so intense as the naked flame, and you can work more directly on the paracord end you want to tidy up without effecting any of the cord around it, with practically no shiny molten cord finish. Also there is a number of the ends that are patterned and can be used to push into the melted end, these can be used directly without first heating. Hope this is of some help.
Suggestion instead of cutting the ends off after making the cobra. I would do the herring bone stitch the end everything at one time.
Just wanted to thank You for this video, Have just made this bracelet with military green paracord and neon green microcord. Looks awesome, wife loves it:-) Thanks again.
Quero saber como se chama esta trava de segurança
Beautiful, Thank you for explaining the process, step by step, in an easy to understand
Love it! My 8 year old did this one and it looks so cool.
Tandy Leather: PermaLok lacing needle- 1193-01 can be used for microcord (and the Jumbo - 1193-02 can be used with #95 aka single strand)
Of course, if you can write the size of Paracord in all videos, it would be great. thank you for everything.
I think a cleaner way to finish this is to not cut off the 550 until the micro stitching is done. That way you can still go into the last loop and you can melt both the 550 and micro at the same time.
+Jeff Hanshew That was my thought, too!
I used a needle for leather, it splits apart, and grabs the paracord inside with tiny hooks works well
I've made several of these, one of my favorites
Shawn I found that using a darning needle works well with the micro cording..
Perfect! I made some of these for myself and it's perfect!
I know I am really late to the show here...This was the first time I made a paracord bracelet and it came out really well so thank you for a most excellent tutorial! If I may make a suggestion? When you work in the embroidery stitch maybe try a plastic blunt nose needle (the kind used to work away ends in crochet and knitting) It goes through much smoother, is not as fiddly and does not catch any of the paracord threads. Just a thought :)
I use a regular leather stiching neddle. That way, you put the micro cord directly into the needle and get it done very easy.
to use the micro cord easily thread it into a needle used for needle point,it has a large enough eye and a rounded tip like the fids
I'm making one of these in red and purple as a christmas present for my gf and adding a stingray charm to the stitching.
If I may: *use a much narrower flattening tool that has been heated up to melt the end of the cord,* that way the flame doesn't affect any of the surrounding cords.
Turned out great.. thanks for the wonderful direction..
I got a name for this paracord bracelet. Bad ass! Awesome videos. Thank you so much.
Do you think you could wait to melt the black ends until after you do the embroidery so you can finish out the embroidery nicely and then melt all the cords at the end?
you dont need a fid you can use the ink from a ballpoint pen. put the micro cord though the small hole in the top, burn it then its ready. its better cos it dosent stretch the paracord too much when you use it
Um lindo trabalho parabéns por sua criatividade!! 😍😘
i used a thinner micro cord with the same colour and i think it looked better. more clean
I have some decent sized sewing needles that I use with the micro cord instead of trying to attach to a fid. Works great
Funny enough I came here to learn to do the stitch. Little did I realize I had Just bought your brand of paracord.
Beatiful and Hypnotic, i dont know speak english, but undertand (?), some words. Thank's for the videos im suscribe.
I first learned how to make Nets and things like this from videos in a different language. I like learning that way because You don't need to understand the language, just watch and learn😎
I use an upholstery needle works great with the microcord! where did you get the lighter? love your videos by the way thanks!
for microcord i take a type 1 needl.
Just melt a litle bolb on the microcord en turn IT in.
Hey man, well done. Your videos are really informative. Just wish you could write the size of the Paracord in the image. That's how great it is.
use a large quilting needle, they're blunted so they don't stick through the paracord and the eye is big enough to accept the microcord without any muss or fuss.
😍😍😍😍
Muss?
In order to have a more professional finishing, burn the end only when you got both cords done, cut and then burn the ending. This way, you won't run into difficulty trying to getting the cord into a burn finish on the 1st cord.
Looks like if you keep the extra paracord til the end, you can also melt the 150 line into the 550 line
you could use a yarn needle (a larger eyed upholstery needle)
Thank you very much, Shawn, for this video!
very cool. what styel of stitching do you sujest for holding the most 550 cord ? Longest in length preferably.
I use different materials, like micro cord (I think its called its small for jewellry like waxed cord), and macrame cotton rope, however it still says to burn edges and it will stop fraying which is fine however I have found it still unravels and doesnt melt to stop it from unraveling. Any suggestions?
Made several of these. Love this bracelet
Hello,I dont know if you are interested more interesting paracord accessories,if yes,try to search PSKOOK by amazon, our paracord is not just with 7 strand but also with a tinder and fishing line inside
Can I use mason line? What's the source of the "mini" paracord? Maybe a needle would be easier than using a find with the little cord?
hey dude cool video's man, i got a question i been getting the colors and item together and i see there is also a Nano size can you tell me what one is mostly used for micro or Nano oh and what size buckle is the most used thanks
that would be so cool if the little strand was glow in the dark
Brunneis Ursus I made one, glow in the dark, I use it as a cokring.
I really enjoy this design...but I was thinking that if you do a video each week or month have a featured paracord of the month/week...that would be pretty cool I think
I use thimbles to smash the cords after burning and then roll it. helps from having a ugly combo and keeps from burning your finger.
Lufkin tapes are still made. Very high quality.
I need to order more from you!!!
great video thank you.. can i ask, what size cord and buckle are you using? im ordering from your site, but need to get correct sizing for this braclet. thank you!
Eu falo inglês não, mais este trabalho ficou um luxo só, muito bem trabalhado e muito bem explicado, show, 10, nota 10 pra o trabalho e pra explicação, um luxo. 👍👋👋👋
i kind of want to try and combine this with the bad max bracelet.
Hello, I loved your video but I have a question because I did not understand that part very well, how many meters or centimeters do I need to do that Bracelet? Thank you
Is it possible to make a durable belt with black being the outside with gray being inside cobra with red and yellow stitching
Shawn I want to make a watchband for my smartphone. I'm am thinking micro-cord will be best but not sure how or what style knotting would be best. Any suggestions?
I don't know what is going on here but, I like it!
Thats awesome. Thankiw broth from colombia
you make look so easy. nice tutorial
is this orange cord 1mm or 2mm micro?
Te quedó chingona
Bien hecho bro 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
How do you measure the length for the first step stichting around the base..?
I watched your video on the Mad Max bracelet last night and made my first paracord bracelet. I visited your website and would like to place an order, but had a couple questions first. I want to make a bracelet that I can use backpacking. I was looking at your options on buckles and was not sure what the best option for me would be. I'm a male with small wrists. Also, what Fid set would you recommend? Lastly, do you have the micro cord you used in this video available in your store? Thanks
I'm a new paracordist and would rily like to learn more about your tools and where u got them
Design and colors Reminds me of the Gila monster
Nice Job! Thanks for sharing.
I think a cleaner way to finish this is to not cut off the 550 until the micro stitching is done.I made one for myself.
I got plenty of supplies, I see colors I don't have every day, so I'll be hitting Amazon pretty soon to get more.
Masudal Hossain why did you copy two other comments and put them into one
how much longer does this take to unravel than just the cobra stitch? how much 125 cord do you get per inch of bracelet?
thank you so much for your inspiration
Can this or something similar be done around a sword/lightsaber hilt??
Quick suggestion for Fusing ANY cords after the melt ( of the same size preferably but..)... Cut a piece of electrical Shrinking Tubes 3mm going Over both sides and shrink it. A pack of 10 will last you around 80 joints for 5$
Edit: Get the shrink tubes in the size you need!
What was the name of the other tool with the micro chord fid, and where can I buy it?
Nice. what kind of lighter is that
its maybe a little bit late to comment but wouldnt be the stitching of the 125 cord be easier with just a curve bended needle? if im not mistaken u could make that loops in one turn instead of three
I mean the vids or not the best but DANG the paracord is the best on the website boredparacord
What is the length of Paracord you are starting with?? And... Do you require a Fid to do this or is there another way if you don't own a Fid?
Do you have a link for the knotting tool?
That looks awesome
Beautiful work,,, 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 l liked this work thank you friend 👍🏽😅
Yes
Gracias estaba loca buscando donde podía conseguir los rollos del hilo, y por su enlace ya tengo donde.🇵🇷🤩
I've been waiting for u to post where are the vids!!!!!!😢😢😢😭😭😭😭
sir, you use 4mm or 3mm ? any significant difference with the thickness ?
Followed your link to ebay to try and find that knotting tool. Can't tell if you are saying fib or fid or something else... couldn't find the tool on your site. Could you please tell me what it's called?
とてもきれいだと思う。
日本の組紐ににているし、カッコイイ!!
That's cool .
la verdad muy util, ya me hice algunos y resultaron muy bonitos. esta OK
Hi!
which has the thick paracord you use? (the diameter)
You can use needle for micro cord... it's east I think
Think im gonna make this as a watch band :)
so if 125 is the pound same with 550 and can I use 95 instead
You make it a lot harder using a fid. Fids are for splicing, not threading, also just use tape (electrical) to hold the line to the fid
Sir: to solve the issue of ending the over weave(which is awesome) don't finish your cobra weave!!! leave it loose until your fully done....
Hey. What’s the size of the buckle you used for this bracelet?
Lufkin still makes tape measures has for a long time go to home depo they still carrie them
Cool design
