I used your budget template and made like a dream kind of trip and then one that was a tight budget. From there we were able to save and budget all year to aim for that dream trip and IT WORKED!
We always go in February at allegedly the slowest week of the year per our Disney reservations person we've booked with for yours. BTW, you can no longer email your reservation person or leave them a voice mail which is a PITA but that's another topic. In Feb of 2022 it was absolutely packed with 90min + wait times on week days. We take advantage of all the Genie stuff but still, the number of guests was ridiculous. I no longer think there's a "slower time" to go.
@@derrickandalese My husband and I went during Spring Break (last week of March) 2022 and my parents and I went the third week of January 2023 and January was just as busy, if not more, than Spring Break the previous year. There were no special events (I.e. RunDisney) in January when we went. You’re right, there’s no slow time to go to Disney anymore.
LOVED THIS. What you said about anytime being a good time to go to Disney, is so important! Obviously there’s better times for sure, but there’s just really not a “low crowd” time anymore. And thank you for talking about the rental car for off property hotels…a lot of people forget to budget for that.
23:58 Something else to keep in mind is if you’re staying on Disney property, but are doing a split stay. You can only book ADRs for your first resort hotel and then have to restart the 60 days out for the second resort hotel for the latter part of your stay with the second resort. So, if you’re staying at one resort for 3 nights and then change to another resort for another 3 nights, you can only book up to 63 days out for your first three days of your first reservation and then you have to book the latter ADRs of your trip with the second stay at the second resort starting at a 60-day out mark.
Very informative. I'd like your thoughts on the Disney Good Neighbor Hotels. Most offer transportation to the parks, but I'd love your thoughts on how well that works and what the pitfalls might be. Thank you!
Thank you for this video! This will be our 1st time going to Disney! My boys are all teenagers now so they’re a lot older than how old I wanted them to be but I’m thankful I am able to at least take them before they are out of the house. This helped me a lot because I had no idea where to start!! 🙏🙏
Bekah, thanks for these vids you do. You really helped my wife and I this passed October for our vacation. We were able to do almost everything we wanted to do and we also were able to save a considerable amount of money. Thanks! You're one of our favorite Disney CZcamsrs.
I loved what you said about going no matter what! We are going in June but everyone keeps saying that’s a bad time to go, but you made me feel so much better ❤️ where did you get the sweatshirt you are wearing? I NEED it!!
We are planning our first Disney Trip to Orlando for the end of January beginning of February in 2024. We’re still debating on going for one or making it a two week vacation. It will just be my husband and I with our 13 year old daughter. My question is how to map things out so far in advance? Would I have access to see Disney calendar and park hours for early next year? And if so would these be subject to change? 😅 I’m clueless how to map things out. We are wanting specific dining reservations at all four parks so I want to make sure I book everything accordingly 😅
Also the mouse dining , I learned from you last year!!!!!!! One note their is a free version too and I have had luck with that , I think the paid version sends you a text and the free version is just email.
Thanks Bekah, you’re an informative sweetheart. Love your videos. We’re planning from Melbourne, Australia, so we’re trying to get it right the first time, as it may be the only dw trip we can manage. Your videos are helpful. Thank you. 🎉
I'm going next month and when looking for hotels, I found there are a lot of hidden fees that can make an off-site hotel more expensive than Disney -- and potentially with more issues, particularly in Value class. Through Priceline, I got a better deal on a room at All-Star Sports than either promotion Disney is presently offering, and I get to be on property, not need a rental car, worry about extra fees, worry about roaches or a sketchy location (so many scary reviews of off-site hotels).
Thanks for informative video! How to we get Amazon to send for example, diapers, to our hotel (which isn't a Disney Resort)? Where does it get sent to? Front desk? How do we receive it? How do we ensure it gets delivered during our few days of stay? Sorry, I'm so confused how to use this. (Yes, I do have Amazon prime). Thanks!
When you go in the park 30 mins early, do u recommend going on the closest ride first or going all the way to the farthest ride first? Or something in between?
How is the weather in october? Currently trying to book everything out for my 20th birthday so me and my family could go as this is our first time going. Does it rain alot in October? Im hoping you say now😭😭🤣
@@karenbain9209 sometimes it comes down to choosing at random, and then when you have park hours, party days, dining reservations, ect. you can always switch your days around if need be ☺️
Hi Bekah! We are staying 7 days, does that mean I can book a dining reservation (CRT) 67 days in advance? Does that also apply to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique?
Hi Bekah! I'm looking at going to Disney World and am deciding between two weeks. Could you let me know which days, you think would be less crowded? March 27th-March 31st or May 29th-June 2nd. Have a wonderful day! (:
Hey Christine! Both dates will most likely have moderate to heavy crowds. March is spring break, and the last weekend of May will have end of school crowds. I think either week will be great! ☺️
Can you explain by what you mean by if you’re off resort property you have to book dining day by day? On the app, it allows me to reserve a slot even though I’m not linked to a resort. I’m not trying to confirm and pay and then be in trouble later haha thanks. You said 60 days but then said be up every day of the trip so I was confused on this part
It can be confusing 😆 When staying at a non-Disney hotel, you’re able to book dining 60 days in advance. So if you have a 5 day trip, you’ll need to book dining 60 days out from EACH day of your trip.
You can either call ahead on your check-in day to request one and have it already in your room, or you can call down to the front desk from your room, and have one sent up ☺️ It usually takes anywhere from 5-15 minutes 👌🏼
Here’s my hot take 🤫 If you plan on spending the entire day at a park, I would pay to park. BUT if you plan on spending just a few hours in a park, I would make a dining reservation at, for example, the Contemporary, and then walk over to Magic Kingdom. Again, only if you plan on spending a small portion of the day in the park. But for a 2 week trip, you definitely need a way to cut down on parking costs, so I hope this tip helps! 😅
I have what is probably a stupid question. If I am staying on property ,can I arrive early the day I am supposed to check in and get the early park entry? Basically, is early park entry valid for the day of check-in? How about the day of check-out? Thank you 🙂
Hi Bekah! We are staying 7 days, does that mean I can book a dining reservation (CRT) 67 days in advance? Does that also apply to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique?
Yes! You’ll be able to book dining 67 in advance 🙌🏼 That does exclude other experiences like BBB or dessert parties, the regular booking window will still apply for those.
If I want to plan a trip which would be about 30 days out from now, would I basically be missing out on all restaurants because it’s too late for the 60 day dining reservation window? Or are the ones that book up so fast only the real fancy ones? I know each hotel has their own restaurant too. I’m used to Disneyland and I just show up to eat when hungry. Also, is the middle of March much more crowded than the middle of February? Thank you for the video.
Not at all! Lots of reservations pop up in the weeks and days leading up to your trip. Especially the night before you’re looking for a reservation. Check out Mouse Dining for alerts for those hard to get ones ☺️
So its me my wife and 8 yr old we have no idea how to begin. We're wanting to do 3 days magic kingdom animal kingdom and Hollywood studios. What's the best way to get tickets. We're wanting to stay off Disney as well
You can purchase your tickets directly through the Disney website ☺️ Make sure to purchase in advance and make park reservations online. This will save you sooo much time when you show up on your first park day 🙌🏼
Assuming there’s 2 adults, and that does not include tickets, you can really do park days on any budget! But $700 is way more than enough for food and souvenirs in my opinion ☺️
Trying to take my gf in mid to late February next year. She turns 21 on the 19th so we really want to go the week after her birthday. I’ve been 3 times with my family. I was too young to remember the first time and then 2 times back in high school in 2017 and 2018 since my sister was in the college program there. My girlfriend has never been. Our 3 year anniversary will be in march next year and her birthday I already said so I want to take her in between those two. Currently have tucked back 600 bucks since the beginning of the year and the goal is to save enough by November to be able to plan the trip
