    I don't believe that Ukraine and Russia are the only countries developing military transport aircraft.

    I find it interesting that some nations do a better job at making certain types of aircraft and weapons.
    In this case, Russia and Ukraine dominate the list when it comes to military transport aircraft.

Все деньги на Ан разворовывают . Уже даже украинцы , которые адекватные , понимают , что укр.авиапром умер . Предприятие Ан больше никогда ничего не выпустит . А , да , у них еще есть три недостроенных корпуса самолетов . Может быть доделают . На то что доделают , дается один цент . 1% из 100.

      theres a motto, if it aint broke, dont fix it. Theres a reason the B-52 is still in service, as well as the C-130. Upgrades are good an all, but the aircraft have proven themselves to work. and frankly why spend a ton of money on new airframes when you got existing ones that excel at the missions you give them....

      @@SmertVsemKazapam Prototype crashed, it is sad but it happens. However, Russia has no choice and will continue to develop more IL aircraft, as it has a lot of aging soviet Antonovs. Antonov was dependent on Russian parts, techs and orders and so from 2014 onwards is almost useless

      By Ukraine license and from 2014 Ukraine dismissed the license so they will never produce them in near future. Also they do not have permission to do certification after maintenance and also do not have components from Ukraine that is why they can't support they AN fleet anymore.

    Are far more advanced than the existing ones? I don't understand that statement since none of these aircraft are better than the C17, C130, A400M . .etc. These jets are either puddle jumpers or too big to function in most military scenarios.
