This is what makes CZcams so amazing. Someone that is passionate about something can share their knowledge to almost anyone in the world. I'm probably never going to use this but that's not what matters to me. I enjoyed watching someone talk about something they clearly have a passion for and that's amazing.
Shut up..I’m trying to watch 🙄🙄🙄
This is how some of us are. Enjoyment within anothers happiness when teaching people how to catch fish was my most favorite Job!! I benefited from free quality fish All the time but that didn't matter to me as well. The simple heart felt laughter and meaningful deep talks I have had with people on my boat was What made it worth it. Drunk or not some people were very matter o' factly about some things too.
Absolutely right. I've never watched anything like this and yet found it fascinating that this kind of thing is even possible.
Hey kid. Keep it down!! I'm trying to watch a video. Just shut up
Sadly CZcams doesn't care about passion anymore.
What I value the most in this channel is showing technique AND result in the same video. For sure it takes a lot of extra time to organize, browse and later edit video material gathered over few months time for each video.
I try to do it. That was one of the things I didn't like in the videos I watched in CZcams. As you say it takes more time and work and the videos will be a bit far apart as a result, but I believe the result is worth it.

@@JSacadura indeed. Bless you!
This got me to sub to you just now. Next year when I can upgrade to a place with a backyard I’m studying these videos and growing my own lil paradise
@@Xanderboof You will have lots of fun. There is nothing like collecting the fruits (literally) of our work. Thanks for the comment and the support.
I just watched a surgical transplant for a tree and I'm speechless
Nature is whack.
I like it
Whack? Strange word choice but okay.
@@ChildofYAH Frankenstein bruh. That's just wicked bruh.
Godrick would be proud of this grafting
We have 3 types of citrus fruit on a single citrus tree. It's a great skill to learn, especially if you're limited on space and want multiple variety of fruit without having to mange multiple trees.
Some days I can't mange any trees. Other days I feel like I could mange five trees and still have space to visit cafe Nero.
Learned about grafting way back in middle school, and was not interested then. This changed that view. If only they made us watch these types of videos
Man, this is crazy. I can't believe I never really considered this as something you could do with plants!
Amazing, isn't it?
I encourage you to explore the world of science. There is so much more out there that will blow your mind. ^^
You can do it with humans too.
@@Some_Random_O_O or cats. XD
@@Some_Random_O_O Ok calm down there Godrick
This is the type of content CZcams used to be all about. I don't have green thumbs but this is knowledge that will be useful forever. Very instructional 👍
I have learned so much watching this channel, your method for figs was helpful and I had a 90% success.
Great to hear! Thanks for the comment.
Id like to hear the 10%

The first thing I think of when I see this title is Elden Ring.
I can't help it.
I knew of grafting as a practice way before the game and yet it is like the first result in my head.
I can only assume this was recommended to me because of Elden Ring.
I successfully grafted a Saijo persimmon to a native persimmon sucker using the modified cleft graft. Thank you for your grafting tutorial videos!
That's great. I'm glad my videos helped. Thanks for the comment.
My uncle had 1 each of: orange, lemon, apple, peach, plum, pear, lime, grapefruit tree. He had 30-ish varieties of fruit. And 1 banana for fun. You couldn't visit and not go home without a full bag. Don't get me started about his garden and berries.. Our last name translates to "Orchard" in english.

That is a shock for me. After years of fruitless advices and even practical demonstrations using mistakenly/lazy my native (Rus) language I found video in the language that I know as a second tongue which made this topic lucid and clear to me within several minutes. That's what it means
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the nice comment.
@@JSacadura thank you for the reply. Parafilm and cambium were new to me, and some other tricks. You're the brain
You make it look so easy, but I do know from experience it is not easy, takes many failures to get to many takers!
Thank you for such inspiring and educating tutorial videos and for sharing here with the world.
I believe I learned more here than all the other channels put together, Thank you so much!
You're too kind! Practice is key to increase take success. Nevertheless, when using good scion material, the right technique for fruit type and time of year, and a sharp knife, the success rate will increase very quickly. Thanks for the comment.
Sir. Thank you so much and I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate your videos not only for the technique you so generously share, but about the fact that you prove that your techniques work by showing the results ... after a month, two months, three months and so on. Great videos. THANK YOU. Nick from Greece.
Thank you for producing these and sharing your skills and knowledge. Keep up the great work!
Simple explanation, even a layman can easily understand
Glad you think so! Thanks for the comment.
Absolutely the best group of videos on Grafting techniques I have ever viewed - The photography and explanations are excellent and concise-- Thank you so much! I am trying to develop multiple fig varieties on individual varieties I have, following your excellent examples. I look forward to all of your videos!
You are not only a good grafter but above all an excellent teacher. Thank you very much.
Finally graft video with actual result
In Indonesia it called okulasi, sambung pucuk, stek, cangkok.
This is just fantastic. When I have my own home, I'll try this.
A own home in the 21st century 😅😅 I'd rather believe in unicorns.
Thanks for the refresher. It is time to start collecting scions in my area, from plum trees.
Its amazing that you can graft different trees together like that
I made my first graft this spring because of your channel! A fruiting apple onto a flowing crab apple rootstock.
That's great. Keep practicing and good luck with your grafts.
Planting is always my passion. So that I am here to watching this video. Video gives me perfectly planting Process of any tree. 👍
Thank you for the video. What youre doing is just so odd that it is completely fascinating to see that it actually works to graft fruit tree limbs onto a different type of fruit tree
First time I see the wedge technique - bravo! - I'm gonna use it. Mainly for Cananga flower.
Ohhhh... this is first time I'm seeing this stuff.. Back then i only saw pictures of diagram of this method on my science books when i was a kid.
Wow, thank you for this video and thank you CZcams for suggesting. I had no idea you could grant one type of tree onto another, fascinating.
What a great video. I definitely didn’t expect it to be as pleasing as it was. Informative, engaging, great subject and well delivered. Best video I’ve seen in a long time. Grafting, I now love the concept.

THANK YOU for this Great video!!!! Watching this brought back a memory of when I was little about maybe 4/5 years old watching my grandmother doing this with what i think was a peach tree. Thank you for your work. Genius and bravo.
This is a perfect "3 am" type of video
Great video as always ! I also grafted pears on loquat seedlings, this seems to have taken fine, and should provide a good rootstock for my relatively poor soil.
Hi, Daniel. That's interesting. Please keep us posted on the compatibility between those pear grafts and the loquat. Its a combination I have never tried. In my area with the clay soil the best rootstock for loquats and pears is the quince.
@@JSacadura I heard that quince was easy to propagate by cuttings, so I just tried (to use them after as rootstocks). Have you any experience of that? Thanks
Simple and practical, as usual. I was about to ask what graft drowning was, only to continue the video and get a clear description. 👍🏾
I usually pause a video to comment. Almost everytime I ask a question, it gets answered in the video later lol.
Thanks for sharing this video , more learning .
What did I just watch? Wow. Never knew you can do this with plants. I'm here trying to sleep and got work in the morning and hooked on this.
